Tropical Style House Near Newcastle City Centre

The person who hosts the place was exceptionally fast at responding at 4 am when we booked for 4-6 people once we realised maybe not another room they promptly offered to refund if we required extra rooms and it was immediate no fuss no delay return which enabled us to book an accommodation that met our needs with teenagers and elderly. Very reliable honest and good host who offers good pick up and in spring will be replenishing the fish very trustworthy and good fellow. If we had just 3 in party mother father son it would had been perfect for us.

Nothing negative we just had too many in our party. The accommodation would be fine for close nit family in one room but not for many different people or rooms.

Lots of facilities: hairdryer, shampoo conditioner, towels, water and croissants for the morning. It had enough heating as it was really cold on this stay so that was good. The outside was really quirky, would be even better in summer.

Obviously a small space for four adults! Would probably be better for adults and children, so its a good thing we're all close friends! No proper bathroom door, which was a bit awkward.

We loved the thought of staying in this little garden hideaway when we saw the images on Booking.com and it looked a quirky compact and definitely bijoux place to stay. When we entered the house the bed was already made up for us when we arrived, so that’s a tick, as I thought maybe we had to do it! It’s decorated in a clean modern style, with everything you need for your stay from snacks, biscuits, bottled water, selection of teas and coffee, shampoos and conditioner in the shower, hand cream in the kitchen area, oh and a hairdryer too.The owner had left a great selection of takeaway menu’s too and a sneaky condom in the table drawer too! 🫣😂 There is ample storage for bags and clothes on the ‘open’ wardrobe, a fridge for food and bottles to chill too. There is a great heater that took the early autumn chill away while we watched our favourite tv programme when we came back from our night out. There is so much more to this hideaway, so much provided that we didn’t have time to use. For instance the outside space had ‘axe’ throwing, football game, chess, places to sit and lie if the weather had been warm enough. The owner thoughtfully closes any of the main house curtains that overlook the Tropical style house for your stay. The shower with loo was a very nicely appointed room, great facility! As a disabled lady, I can walk short distances using a rollator, so nothing was a problem. There was a step down into the kitchen and one step up to the shower and loo, but I could manage them. Our huge bed was very comfy and we where toasty under our duvet! We will be coming back next time there is an event we want to come to in Newcastle, we loved our overnight stay and wished it could have been longer. Btw the people in Newcastle are the most warm hearted and lovely folk I have ever met, all in all a fab night away hidden away in the middle of Newcastle!

The goldfish had gone from the pond!

Loved the location. It was such a cute little space to stay.

I was a little disappointed that the koi pond wasn't there. A bit cramped for space.
