Staff were all friendly & helpful, room was very clean if a little worn in places. Breakfast was plentiful & staff were very good at replenishing things that had run out. Great place to stay if you're going to a concert at the Glasshouse.

The staff were great, we arrived a little bit early but they allowed us to check in as the room was ready, they also gave us a late checkout at midday. The room and bathroom were spotless. The hotel is sittuated just across the river from all the bars and restaurants on the quayside and is a five minute walk from the hotel. Also the parking prices are very good. I highly recommend staying here.

There was no car parking place for me to park my car it was left on the street down the road , I was advised to go park in another car park away from hotel and walk and the heating wasn’t working

Hotel car park was full so parked at the Baltic. £30!! For less than 24 hours! Not the hotels fault though. Room was pretty basic and a bit tired. Holes in the curtains, stains on the carpets, mould in the bathroom. I couldn’t get the heating to work so the room was quite cold but my biggest annoyance was the constant whirring of the extractor fan, loud enough for me not to sleep well. Another pet hate of mine is a fixed shower head. Bed was very comfortable though.

Clean room and many areas refurbished sadly not the bathrooms. Staff were very welcoming especially at breakfast and Buck’s Fizz was a lovely touch.

Check in was rude. Couldn't get away from us quick enough. Room was okay but curtains didn't close enough to block out light so had to put coffee cup on them. Loud noise in bathroom that did not stop all night. Banging of doors constantly although hotel was quiet im terms of noise.

The room was everything you expect with a great view Breakfast was very busy with lots of people arriving at the same time but the staff worked hard to keep everything topped up. There was for me a limited fruit section and no yoghurts which is my preference. Everywhere we needed to go was walkable. Whilst we enjoyed our stay the lack of car parking was a real issue. We had to walk 10 minutes to and from the car each time and leave it in an unsecured car park.

Clean simple hotel. No frills. Parking limited, we had to park on the street as the small hotel car park was full. Bed comfortable, the bathroom smelt of cleaning materials, I guess it’s better to smell of bleach than a bad smell. Shows it’s been cleaned! Overall clean simple hotel, good location but don’t expect much.

Rooms 20 years overdue refurb especially batch rooms. Reception staff neither welcomed us nor asked how stay was. Sat in reception and noticed that was common practice. Meant to be selling hospitality.

We had a problem with our 1st room, if i hsd been on my own i would have been stuck inside it as there was no handle to open the door. I spoke to jess and shaun who were on reception in the morning, they didn't just help they went above and gave us another room and upgrade

The room was really in need of refurbishment, it was dated and didn’t feel clean at all. I was extremely uncomfortable and unable to sleep my whole stay due to this. As a result I ended up leaving the hotel a night early, even though I had paid for 3 nights just so I could go home and sleep.

Room was dirty. Marks all over the floor and bed base. Marks on duvet too. Bathroom sink had a massive crack in it which was fixed by what I can only assume by someone who had never seen a sink before and did not know what a fixed sink should look like. Whilst I am not disabled, I was given the disabled adapted room and I feel very sorry for someone who has a disability and has to stay in it.

The room was quite tired looking. All felt like it would benefit from a thorough cleaning with several things dirty and run down looking(chips in walls etc). The beds themselves were fine, and the sheets were clean. The temperature of the room was good and it was quiet even on the roadside.
