Issues

I loved the central location and the spaciousness of the apartment, ideal for a family of 7, the beds were comfortable, the bedding and towels were clean. The views were really really impressive.

Unfortunately I’m not sure where to start with this, the property hasn’t had any money spent on it for some time and it could be that they are just not earning enough from the rentals to invest any. That said from a health and safety perspective you cannot be renting somewhere out that clearly needs urgent maintenance. The kitchen was held together in places with tape, the fridge door didn’t close properly and the door pocket inside was broken off, so once you had opened your milk there was no where to store it. The oven door didn’t shut properly but worse than that the glass exploded while cooking tea on our first night, my husband phoned the owner to make him aware, we then spent the next hour making sure we had got all the glass swept up and hoovered up, fortunately we had footwear on when it happened otherwise that could have been nasty, not that we were asked if we were ok! My husband sent pictures of the oven door but didn’t get any response. The chairs around the breakfast bar were ideal for family get togethers but every one of them squeaked and were on the verge of collapsing. Neither of the showers would turn properly, the only way to move them to adjust the temperature was to use a towel! In the bedroom with the dressing room, the door handle came off inside and my niece, her husband and young son were trapped in there for over an hour until we got back to get them out. This apartment could be really amazing but it needs some money spending on it and some maintenance.

great kitchen, spread out house that gave privacy to other adults staying there with us.

the two storey house was very spacious and like the views from the living room. Very central and easy walk to shops train crescent gardens

just one one of the many beds was a bit too firm for my family the top room double.

Comfortable apartment in a great location.

The apartment was large and two levels. The rooms were spacious, bright and comfortable. Having two bathrooms was great as it meant no waiting to shower. The location was perfect for our group and close to town centre and the Spa. Large spacious kitchen with all you need for a self catering holiday. The cost was reasonable for such a large comfortable apartment. Would definitely stay again.

Comfortable and spacious accommodation which was nicely furnished and stunning views of the sea from the living room

Beautiful sized property in a great location for us. The beds were a great size and comfortable. The kitchen was perfect for being social in and the living room furniture was lovely.

A couple of our guests commented on the upstairs bathroom door being hard to open and close and that bathroom could do with updating. It doesn’t fit the rest of the house The windows on the first floor rattle at night

Would of appreciated a slightly later check out time of 11am. Considering we were ask to strip all the beds. But other than that, could not fault our stay.

Beautiful apartment. Very spacious and has this combined modern and traditional feel with exposed beams in the top most floor. Great location for anything and everything. Top floor view is amazing in the mornings. The apartment has everything you will need. First accommodation with enough cutleries for us all.. 😊😊 ...loved the stay. Wish it was longer.

As it is in the town centre, it can get busy and the environmental noise after midnight can get a bit loud for a little while. Not the hosts fault. This is more of a tip than a dislike. The apartment door is on the left hand side of the building when you have your back on Scarborough Hotel. There is a an iron gate that opens to a stair going up the apartment. Find the parking that charged £8/day otherwise it will be Ringo or similar that can cost more than a little.x

Great place to stay in the centre of town

The host was great. We arrived early into town, I messaged the owner to ask if we can check in early and they let us. So that was nice, especially having a baby with us. (Btw there is a travel cot available). The property looks just like in the pictures. Clean, comfy beds. The kitchen is fully stocked and we ended up spending more time around the kitchen bar area than the lounge. It’s very central and about 5mins walk to the station.

I see someone complained about the amount of stairs in the flat. Yes the flat is on the first floor and there are some steep steps just as you enter. But once you’re inside it’s not an issue at all.
