Fantastic property, would still go back if returning to the area

Fantastic location, staff lovely and check in easy. Clean big room and not too noisy even though next to the main road.

Amazing quality and value

Thai Life is an outstanding hotel right on the main drag in Bang Niang, steps from the night market, walking distance to dozens of restaurants and bars, and a short ride from the beach. Its own restaurant is excellent. It sits in a tree-covered courtyard that gives the entire hotel a garden feel. Don't miss the mookata. The highlight, however, is its rooms: spotlessly clean and designed to a level rare outside 5-star hotels. Every element is "on point:" level furniture, tiled bathroom (not concrete) with quality grouting, sealed windows with sliding screens (!) to keep out insects, and an electric fan alongside an AC to keep you comfy.

You have to hunt for things to criticize about Thai Life. If you're a very light sleeper, you might be wakened by passing revelers on the street outside late at night. The bathroom lacks a window or exhaust fan, which makes it ideal for mildew growth on wet towels (fix: hang them on the rack supplied on the balcony), and sewer gas can accumulate if the bathroom isn't used daily so that water can flow through the pipes (fix: run the water down the sink and shower drain for a minute).

Beautiful comfy stay near night market

Staff are hard workers. Always cleaning and cooking. Beautiful clean room!! Water everyday. Clean daily if you need. I don’t need everyday. Night market at your doorway but not noisy. They have their own restaurant below. Cute place, English music good food🔆💜🔆💜

A little sewer smell in the bathroom. It comes and goes though. All else is great.

Lovely stay at a very nice place

The place was absolutely spotless clean every day! The staff is exceptional, all lovely women. The location is perfect, short walk to the beach. Surrounded by shops and mini markets and right next to the street market. All this but still very peaceful and quiet at night. The restaurant below is the best you can find, food is genuine Thai and again, the service is wonderful thanks to all the ladies :)

Calm and peaceful!

Loved the place! Super clean, comfy and mosquitoes free ☺️. Traveling around thailand mosquitoes were the most annoying thing but dunno how and why here in Khaolak it s almost mosquitoes free. The room has a balcony which is a good thing to drink ur coffee in in the morning. The atmosphere is calm especially in the morning and it s close to the beach and other amenities. There is also a restaurant downstairs. Beds are comfy and the lighting is good as well.

Amazing stay

Loved Thai Life Guesthouse. The staff is amazing, friendly and kind. The pay attention to details and are always asking about the guests feelings. They engage with their guest and are very helpful. The room is big and really really clean. The clean your room every day and provide small water bottles and fresh towels daily. The hotel is located next to the Bang Niang market. Cafés, Restaurants and supermarkets are all in walking distance. We have eaten in the restaurant and the food as well as their drink menu is amazing. No matter if you choose Thai food or European food it is all really tasty and well made. Big shout out to the staff.

Lovely staff, good location, would stay here again :)

The room I booked was very big, especially for the price. It was immaculately clean, smelled very fresh. Had a desk and fridge etc. The location is great, everything you could need and want to do very close by. The beach is a bit nicer down south however.

Perhaps a little noisy but that’s what you expect being in a main tourist area near a market. I still slept great!

The guy from Switzerland who manages it is a really nice guy. The room was nice and clean and so was the bathroom. Spacious. The place is walking distance from the main marketplace and other shops nearby

It is primarily a restaurant and it was not advertised that way in the booking.com search results which is misleading. It is a restaurant that also has rooms to rent upstairs. This means that really heavy smells from the restaurant engulf the room and especially the hallway and stairway outside the rooms.

Exceptional

Comfy bed, we had booked 2 nights with 1 night in between, but they let us keep stuff in the room and let us keep the key so we could come back. It's very thoughtful.

The name is too similar with other guesthouses, so the drivers of the companies we had booked couldn't find the guesthouse easily. Not really their fault but it's the only thing I can think of.

Agradable Khao Lak

Habitación grande, cómoda y luminosa. Personal muy amable. Buena ubicación, cercano al night market, cafeterías y restaurantes. La playa a un paseo. Tienen también un restaurante debajo con comida estupenda.

El colchón era de muelles y creo que bastante gastado. Cada vez que mi pareja se movía, me movía yo también y nos despertábamos mutuamente, lo que hacía difícil descansar.

Una notte piacevole in buona posizione

Struttura all’inizio della stradina principale con molti locali. La stanza era pulita e ampia e sotto vi è la possibilità di mangiare perchè i proprietari gestiscono anche il ristorante. Siamo stati una notte e ci siamo trovati abbastanza bene. È loro abitudine fare lasciare fuori le scarpe per questioni igieniche poiché la strada è sicura e inoltre non organizzano tour, anche se la strada è piena di chi lo fa (suggerisco di prenotarli da Mr Thong, a due minuti dalla struttura). Lo consiglio per un soggiorno a breve termine.

La pecca più grande è stata la mancanza di acqua calda. Una piccola critica può riguardare l’odore quando si apriva la porta della stanza, essendoci il ristorante giù entrava tutto l’odore del cibo.

Ich besuche das Hotel nun zum 3. Mal bereits - diesesmal für 23 Übernachtungen. Preis-/Leistung unschlagbar!! Hervorragender Service, jede einzelne Mitarbeiterin äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Im Zimmer fehlt es an nichts.

Chambre grande et confortable, connexion wifi très satisfaisante pour travailler dans la chambre. La plage est à 15 minutes à pieds.

Personnellement, nous avons moins apprécié les environs de l'hôtel que nous avons trouvé plutôt touristique et bruyant. La terrasse est bruyante également.

Unglaublich nette Menschen, sehr sauber und hell. Perfekte Lage im Herzen von Khao Lak mit einem Klasse Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Kann die Unterkunft nur empfehlen, wenn man nicht unbedingt ein Resort mit Pool braucht. Einzig das Bett war sehr hart, aber das ist typisch für Thailand. danke für die schöne Zeit 🙏

Geweldig

De locatie was voor mij perfect, alles in de korte nabijheid: restaurants, winkels, duikscholen, strand,. Gezellige omgeving en toch ook weinig geluidoverlast Personeel supervriendelijk en dankbaar en een moderne/schone kamer. De prijs was ook erg aantrekkelijk, met name voor datgene je ervoor terug krijgt.

Geen enkele klacht, voor mij was alles perfect.
