Below-standard cleanliness and an unprofessional handling of genuine guest feedback.

The place has so much potential if the owner was willing to accept constructive feedback- and Mark (one of the team) was so lovely, understanding and helpful.

Unfortunately, the property was not clean or prepared to an acceptable standard on arrival. The fridge/freezer appeared to have been switched on shortly before we arrived, resulting in all frozen food defrosting. The kitchen and bathroom were dirty, including unclean cutlery, crockery, sink, shower drain, and mouldy grout. The shower also flooded and was difficult to use. The bedding was unhygienic- we found hairs that were not ours, a ripped pillow, and a live insect in the bed (video evidence taken). There was significant dust, cobwebs, and visible damage to the ceiling above the bed. Under the bed was very dirty and contained rubbish left from a previous guest. We raised these issues promptly and provided photographic and video evidence. Unfortunately, the response from the owner was rude, unprofessional and dismissive, and feedback was taken personally rather than addressed constructively. I hope future feedback is handled more professionally and that legitimate concerns from paying guests are acknowledged rather than challenged. Screenshots are available. Upon arrival the staff were lovely an friendly. The nook was nice and cozy an clean. Had everything we needed. The garden area was lovely an the hot tub was just right considering it was a boiling weekend. Would definitely recommend an will be back.

Dirty and low quality property

Filthy accommodation, covered in dust, mould in drawers, leftover food in the sink, dirty crockery, comedically small kettle. Owners claimed daily cleaner but no evidence they had cleaned anything. Mattress was unacceptably thin, bed hard and uncomfortable as a rock. Definitely not value for money.

Amazing quaint and beautiful views well worth the money

The nook was a lush place , very cosy and quaint , clean , comfortable bed .. free WiFi , hot tub amazing , there was a see through dome with chairs and tables to sit and have food , beautiful views and scenery.. it was very quiet and peaceful just what we needed after working hard all week, we loved it .. there was animals on the land , llamas horses lovely lake .. tbh it was just amazing, thank you definitely going back 💕

Super amazing value for money!!

Absolutely amazing; everything about the stay was great. Venue was super clean, the bathroom and room have been recently renovated so it looks amazing inside and super clean. Great kitchen with oven/stove with access to fridge and freezer. Massive tv In the room which is great for Netflix. Amazing views from the back garden! Hot tub was perfect, had been set up and ready to use as soon as we arrived. Temperature set to 38c so was lovely and hot. They topped it up with chlorine each day to keep it clean. It’s a large hot tub I am 6ft 8in and weigh about 170kg and could easily fit 4 of me inside lol. Towels had been provided at venue so no need to bring your own. All shops such as large Tesco, cafe, pubs no more than 17mins from venue. I took a cooler with me and filled it full of ice and cider so I could drink in the hot tub (highly recommend that) The place is a working farm and after chatting with the farmer we got a tour of the land where he took us too each animal and got to hand feed them!!! They have water buffalo (my fav), alpaca, llama, pigs, sheep, horses and donkeys. Was such a great experience and highly recommend asking about this tour! Overall you will not be disappointed, this place is super value for money!!

Very kind and welcoming owners, beautiful views, easy to find, warm and cosy aura.

The property had everything we needed for an overnight stay. It was well equipped with utensils which was great considering me and my partner had brought food to cook. It was very cosy and very comfortable too.

There was nothing we did not like about the property. It was smaller than expected but this was no issue at all as we still had all the space we needed.

upon check in was lovely and polite, whole attitude appeared to change towards me once he saw my partner and became very rude and almost felt like he couldn’t be bothered with showing us the workings of the hot tub etc and just came across abit creepy, rude and arrogant at check out tried to charge me £50 because the back of the remote was missing when the remote hadn’t been off the table all weekend due to us bringing our own entertainment and not requiring it (99.5% sure it wasn’t there when we checked in to be honest) when challenged and told he wasn’t going to take £50 for a remote as that’s ridiculous had a “what are you going to do about it” attitude towards my partner. was chastised for plugging in our Xbox as it meant the TV stand was moved slightly and also because the sofa had moved slightly in order to be able to get our suitcase around due to not having a lot of space. the place it’s self is okay, outdated and smaller than expected, was advertised with a washer which wasn’t there, no exterior lighting surrounding the hot tub, advertised like it’s away from the world but it’s adjacent to a cottage which back room looks out on to the hot tub area and a static caravan outside the gate (could literally watch their tv from the gate) heating was set to 15 degrees in mid March so was cold and there was no way of altering the temperature. have had a lovely weekend ruined for the sake of a 3” piece of plastic, in the end up after showing him remotes are under £10 on Amazon I got the other £40 of my deposit back but it was a 20 minute argument to get him to agree to that. not sure if it’s because I’m only young he thought he could take advantage and try swindle money out of me but I don’t think he was expecting my partner to challenge him on it.

Superb

The location was ideal for what we wanted. We visited in December it was -4 degrees. The hot tub helped us keep warm. Beautiful views across the valley. Cosy apartment, great for two nights. An hour away from the western beacons for walks and 40 mins from the Gower.

Shower was cold, however, tried to use at 9am on Sunday when checkout is 10, so guessing the rest of the residents were using too. Did warm up on the Saturday morning (around 8)

Private and all you need for a great stay.

The privacy and hot tube were top of the list. Even though you were in a group of rental properties, your space was completely private. They provided free of charge wood for the fire pit and everything needed to grill out. Unheard of.

To be honest, the bed was not comfortable at all. Now I am just being picky, but the sofa could be changed for a 2-seater which would give more space and make it easier to move around. Neither of these would stop me renting again. In fact I am thinking of writing a book and this would be an ideal place to work on it. Since it faced south, you could sit outside under the clear tent over the table and chairs even in winter.

Very pleased with our stay, stunning location!

Location is superb and views from hot tub are spectacular, the cottage is fully equipped, there was everything we needed and even a BBQ with coals, lighter etc. Animals wandering around the farm and plenty of different birds around like woodpeckers and nuthatch to name a few.

Could benefit from an umbrella in garden as we stayed during very hot weather with no shade. Also the drive into the farm can be rough in places but then it is a working farm so to be expected but keep this in mind if you have a low vehicle.
