Lakeside Cottage

This was honestly one of the most well appointed homes I haved stayed in. It had the cute cottage vibes you are hoping for (complete with the sage accents, thick walls and 2 woodburners), but combined with all the luxuries you could possibly need. The overall effect was both cozy, but still roomy enough. There was even a separate tab with filtered water, an engenius system to dry your clothes without them getting in the way, and Irene areanged a lovely care package with crisps, wine, eggs, milk, coffee, tea and more. The view out onto the lake was calming and it made for the perfect hide-away. The place is somewhat remote, so a car is a must but with car restaurants and shops are about a 15 minute drive away.

Very peaceful location and only 7 minutes to Boyle. Would recommend for a pleasant break away.

The cottage overlooks a beautiful lake with swans on. The location is very peaceful and hidden away in the countryside. There were lots of small touches in the house which made you feel welcome, such as the way each room was so carefully maintained, games for children and clear instructions about how to use the facilities.

Excellent hosts. Great place to stay and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Lovely comfortable beds, very clean and tidy. Lovely peaceful location with fabulous scenery.
