Lovely stay, would definitely recommend

House was very comfortable and warm, spacious sitting room to relax in, nice showers, comfortable beds. Lovely kitchen with food left for a cooked breakfast. Excellent host met us on arrival and walked us through the facility. Would definitely stay again if the opportunity arose

Currently not great for a family holiday, would be fine for one night.

Sallys cottage is in a Lovely rural location. The most comfortable bed I’ve slept on whilst away. Fresh, clean bedding and lots of towels. Washing machine and tumble dryer made family life easier. Breakfast basket a very nice touch. Jim was friendly and efficient when contacted re concerns/queries about the property.

Property is tired, it is in need of TLC. I’m sure it was fab a few years ago but it’s really in need of a freshen up and some basic refurbishments- a lick of paint would do wonders to bring it back to life and make it feel worth the money. An electricity meter on outside to be paid with €2, (not mentioned prior to stay, found info in the house booklet) half way through our stay the access box was locked so we couldn’t top it up- not sure if this was due to us putting enough in it or if it’s not actually in use. Showers were an issue- owner acted quickly when concerns were raised and told us he had the electrics in one checked and ok’d by an electrician, he sealed round the other that was leaking. A washing line or clothes airer would be a fab addition as there was nowhere to hang washing to dry- didn’t want to hang on radiators.

Perfect accommodation in close proximity to Kilronan Castle. Lovely hosts who left us eggs and food for breakfast; such a lovely touch. Comfy beds with lots of space in the house. Highly recommend.

We stayed in this house when we had a wedding in Kilronan Castle and it was the perfect location. The house has everything you could need including a lovely breakfast left by Jim. A lovely stay and a great host. Would definitely recommend!

The breakfast was lovely! More than 5 hungry girls could eat! Jim was lovely. We all slept well. Plenty of towels and toiletries. Very clean. Nice and remote. Close to walking trail/forest/lake.

Ideal location for our planned activities.. cottage was very clean and spacious..Jim met us on arrival and went through everything we needed to know about heating, electric meter and hot water..he even provided us with a beautiful breakfast for next morning..beds comfy and lots of extra towels provided...couldn't fault anything at all!

Most comfortable stay

Jim is extremely well organised. The heating was on before we arrived. The stone cottage is very warm, cosy and clean. Jim has thought of everything and has all essentials left out for our arrival. I will be certainly back again when work this side of the country.

The house was very clean and so many extras , toiletries, food , tea coffee, towels , sope anything you could possible need .

Would not recommend this place with 3 teenage boys as they can get up to mischief a lot land . ( you know what boys can be like!!!!!)
