Beautiful and relaxing stay

The house itself was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was beautiful and just a short walk to the castle. We had dinner each night at the castle café, and the food and drinks were delicious. We spent a day on rented bicycles in nearby Leithem, and did some shopping in Carrick on Shannon. Overall it was a great stay and we would definitely return!

The only disadvantage was the lack of wifi at the house. We were able to use wifi in the castle with no issue

Central located to the hotel as we had a wedding

No showers working in the property at all. I thought they might have let milk out for a cup of tea co wondering we paid over €400 for one night.

Location was excellent, checking in was very easy, 4 bedrooms was very good, the basics were in the house

Main bathroom shower had only one setting full power and hot, you had to get out of the shower to turn it off made it awkward to use

Kilronan stay

A lovely house to stay in with very comfortable beds. Food in the adjacent Kilronan Castle hotel is excellent. A great area for walks and hill climbing. Great scenery. Lots of places of megalithic interest to see.

Our stay was totally ruined by the dreadful, upsetting experience of being verbally abused by Heather, the owner of 28 C

The abusive treatment we received from the owner of 28 Carolans Court when checking out. Check out time was given as 11.30am. At 11.36am, totally unprovoked, she stormed into the house screaming foul language telling us to get the F### out of her house.

Really worth it.

For a house that is rented out I was not expecting the comfort or the high standards of the amenities. We used 3 out of the 4 bedrooms. They were all decently sized bedrooms. I had the master bedroom which had a huge bed, it was very spacious. It had an en suite which was lovely and it also had a walk in closet which was lovely to have. The carpet in the master bedroom was so soft.

There was nothing we didn’t like. It was only used for 1 day and it was perfect. We had a wedding in Kilronan castle, it was super close by and very convenient.

Booked house for my wife and a couple of her friends to celebrate an occasion. Great location, close to castle, and unit was very clean and tidy.

There was a bit of clarification required on how it was charged (e.g. per person/per bedroom/per house??) which needed to be clarified - not clear upon booking. Also, no heat was on at time of arrival (which had been requested and confirmed) - had to find out how to set and wait for unit to heat up.
