Great for a group stay and a wedding

The cottage is great for a group of friends, particularly if you are attending a wedding nearby in Markree Castle as it is only a short 5 minute drive away. It is also only a quick trip into Sligo by car. The cottage was very clean and accessible for us on arrival.

The check in time is quite late, particularly if you are attending a wedding nearby as it means you are unable to check in until late at night. That said, we arrived as the cleaner was preparing the accommodation and she did allow us to leave our bags in. An early check in and late check out option would be greatly appreciated. There were not enough toiletries provided in the main bathroom either.

Loved Clodagh’s Cottage. Very spacious and comfortable.

The location was only a few minutes by car to Collooney itself. There are two supermarkets stocking everything you need for a stay. Very easy to reach Sligo town by car. The house had enough space for the four of us. I really liked the big bedroom with en-suite and walk-in wardrobe. There were 2 tvs so everyone was happy. There’s also a utility room with a washing machine. I enjoyed walking around the beautiful garden each evening and sitting on the bench outside. Clodagh left some goodies which went down well with the kids and the wine with the adults.

The water pressure was low in the main bathroom but that’s just how it is in some areas. Not a problem for us really as there are 2 bathrooms.

Everything was perfect Had a great time.Will book again next year. I would recommend this house and area to anyone.Only 3 mins drive to shops and 20 mins to beautiful Sligo city.

Exceptional

We got clear instructions on how to collect keys, absolutely beautiful entrance, lovely garden more than enough space car parking, we got welcome stock, nice chocolate cookies, milk that kids loved, nice robotic lawn mower that kept our 4 year olds entertained, nice view, location is close to fuel station and bunch of nice eateries. You get a nice card with handwritten note we all loved it. ❤️ The list of sightseeing options and places to go. The rooms were clean. View from the master room is very good in the morning and evening if you are lucky enough to find nice and sunny weather. Clodagh was easily accessible on the phone when required. Smart Working TV which was helpful for kids to stay at one place at least for some time. 😬

Nothing at all, just one thing and it might be just me, a couple of more bathroom mats would be good.

Das Haus ist schln gelegen und bietet alles für einen stressfreien Aufenthalt. Sehr engagierte und liebenswürdige Gastgeber erfüllten uns jeden Wunsch. Die Dusche ohne Zimmeranschluss hat fast keinen Wasserdruck. Haarewaschen war da kaum möglich. Aber es gubt ja 2 Duschen im Haus🍀🍀
