B&B Singel Suites

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the B&B Singel Suites! Our host was prompt on check in and out, the room was clean and had all the amenities we would expect in a B&B. The stay was in a perfect location for us. Central and close to public transit, with cafes and restaurants around, but still quiet at night for some good rest. We will certainly stay here again if we are ever back in Amsterdam!

A beautiful suite on the canal minutes from the Markt and the Christmas markets A magical stay. The breakfast was also fabulous. Good local recommendations for food and chocolate which we relied on.

The location was really the only good thing.

It was very shabby. Not very clean. The bed sheets and duvet were awful. The duvet cover was broken and so the buttons didn’t even close. There was also only two old pillows on the bed. The place felt like a dumping ground for old things belonging to the owner. It is definitely not fit for a “family” as the mezzanine is actually very precarious. The price was what really bothered me. Even the hand soap in the bathroom was an old watered down bottle that was nearly empty. The room was filled with dying plants and grubby ripped furniture. We didn’t meet the hosts. I feel like maybe the other rooms are better and that we just got unlucky as the property is well reviewed.
