Very pleasant stay in a charming hotel

Excellent location quite close to the Dordrechts Museum and to the Voorstraat (shopping street). Friendly hotel staff. Nespresso coffee machine in the room. Very comfy bed. No breakfast buffet - instead you can order things from a menu, bit like being in a café - everything was tasty and very nicely presented.

Maybe the hotel could invest in some better windows with double glazing (secondary glazing is not very effective at keeping out the cold or keeping the warmth in). Otherwise no complaints about this charming hotel.

This is a lovely family run b&b hotel. You can tell that they really care about what they are doing. I say b&b but you could get your lunch there as well because there is a great cafe and patisserie on the ground floor. Breakfasts really good - good Dutch fare I would say. The location is great. So you are right in or at the edge of the old town. All the sights are within walking distance. The hotel is opposite Museum Street which has the Dordrechts Museum on it - which is a really excellent city museum with the work of significant artists in it who happen to be connected with Dordrecht.

Well nothing. I guess I would have liked a room with a window you could open to the outside easily but I didn't ask and maybe you could do this. The room was air conditioned so it was "sealed" - it is good to have air conditioning/heating obviously. I would have liked a room with a balcony, but then I didn't ask either. I think it might be not the ideal hotel for someone with accessibility or mobility issues because of the steep stairs but then it is an old building and steep stairs are typical in Holland. There is a lift of course, so it would not be a big problem.

All was excellent. Breakfast was interesting options. Gluten free choices in Cafe (Cakes etc) and breakfast. Well equipped. Short walk to town etc.

Room (12) had lots of staircases so not perfect for every traveller. The lift was an experience but only went to 2nd floor.

A perfect stay in Doordrecht. Don't miss this one!

Loved the welcome and clear instructions from Remco. A very cheerful host. We loved our top beamed room, and our room had everything we required. The breakfast was both generous and delicious. Granola especially was appreciated, as were the scrambled eggs. This is one property one shouldn't miss out on! Thanks so much...it was hard leaving as was your memorable city.

Best hotel and kind people in years

Very nice hotel with garden and restaurant for lunch. Inside city center. We could park our bikes in garden Nice room clean and quiet. All people were very friendly and accurate. Great breakfast with real ( no automat) cappuccino! One can also buy home made pastries. This hotel is a hidden gem very close to the museum

The breakfast menu was extensive, very well cooked and ordering all you could eat was definitely a bonus. The staff were extremely friendly and very efficient.

Great place to stay

Very pleasant hotel above a cake shop/cafe in a quiet area of Dordrecht, close to the old town centre. All the staff friendly and helpful, first class breakfasts prepared to order. Our room was comfortable and quiet. Dordrecht is a gem of a place for a short break, having such good accommodation made our stay even better.

Lovely small hotel with friendly faces and well thought out touches

I had booked this hotel because of the location (in the old center of the city), not realizing it is a delightful samll-scale place with lots of quaint touches and kind service. The decor is warm and quirky and the room was comfortable with a unique layout to fit the space (not just a cookie cutter room). I go the impression that this place also really tries to operate in a green fashion. No wasteful breakfast buffet, but you can order anything you want, and as much of it as you want, and it comes looking beautifully prepared and served with a smile.

The bed was a bit too soft for me (I prefer very firm).

We couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough - absolutely perfect for a visit to Dordrecht.

A really lovely hotel in a great location for exploring beautiful Dordrecht. Great, spacious room, everything in very good condition. Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was first class and brought to us by a very friendly waitress in a very beautiful dining room. And there's a lovely café downstairs where they make delicious pastries!

This was a very comfortable hotel and we would stay here again!

The breakfast was excellent. The staff opened the restaurant earlier to accommodate my husband's work schedule. The location was perfect with the town center within a 5 minute walk. Many restaurants, shops and historic sites within a 5 to 20 minute walk.

Overall, everything was exceptional! We stayed five nights. We would stay here again!
