This was our second visit here as we loved the peaceful surroundings. The hosts are super friendly and we chatted about how much they had added since last year and how much more the site now offered. The cottage is cozy, with stunning views across the mountains, there's plenty of walking routes if you fancy a hike, and a small outdoors games area which once again proved we are rubbish at table tennis. This definitely won't be our last visit.

What more can I say than wonderful. Our family had a fabulous time here. The accommodation is lovely with lots of little extras, which included a lovely welcome tray with tea, cake, and great coffee. There were also towels, handwash, cleaning products, and wildfower seeds to take home as well as a dishwasher and washing machine. The location in the countryside is breathtaking and still only 20 mins to the coast. We found it a great central base for my family to go mountain biking to the bike parks in the south of Wales, mid Wales, and up in the north of Wales too,, 4 bike parks done in our 6 day stay! Aberaeron is 20 ish mins away and is a lovely town with everything you need, and New Quay a little further. If you want a little something extra, we went out on a boat fishing trip. The hosts are lovely and are running a wonderful place called mud and wool.I loved my tour of their land and everything they are doing there.. It was one of the most relaxing holidays I have had in a long time.

Very well presented property, very clean and modern.
Everything it had to offer. But I didn’t realise it was quite far into the countryside for where we needed to go; but absolutely beautiful place to go to if your looking for a quiet place to stay and relax.

I haven't checked the location properly so was a bit surprised where we ended up - but it actually worked out - I have never stayed in such a remote location, but for what we like to do as family, it was perfect. We were able to visit many places in mid-Wales. The property is clean and spacious, There are two bathrooms and kitchen is well equipped. We got some Welsh cakes for when we arrived and these are now my son's favourite. For kids there is a game area and while we haven't stayed in the property for the day, I am sure we would have enough things to do there to entertain 4 and 9 years old. I have already recommended to friends.

Beautiful views, incredibly quiet, a real escape from day to day life. I really enjoyed Adam's pottery workshop, where I learnt to throw pots and bowls with excellent tuition. The cottage had everything you could need. Lovely big comfy bed and great bath and shower.

Honestly one of the most relaxing places I have ever stayed at. We wish could have stayed longer. Adam and Jo went above and beyond to welcome us and make us feel at home. The property is beyond beautiful and relaxing. It’s also an organic farm that the hosts maintain. The countryside is so peaceful and it’s a great place to get away and relax.

Travelled as a small family with our two daughters. We arrived late and Jo was very understanding that my daughter had been unwell so arrived late. The cottage is set in an amazing location and is a good base for exploring different parts of Wales. The beds were extremely comfy and the cottage itself was very cosy, perfect for a 3 night stay.
Nothing we didn't like but for others the WiFi connection might be poor at times due to the rural location.

It is a self-catering cottage. There was an excellent welcome basket which included fresh produce from the small-holding and GF cookies as one of us has to be GF. We enjoyed the freedom to walk round the property, the introductory guided tour and explanation of the principals of place. The area is also very beautiful and there are lots of footpaths to explore. The coast is not far away and there are good beaches, coves and cliff walks. The Cambrian Hills are within easy distance too. A car is essential.
Nothing. It is wonderful.

We booked for three nights but ended up staying for four as a storm stopped us from leaving. Jo and Adam were wonderful hosts and we loved our stay. The kitchen had everything you could need. The beds were comfy and the WiFi was good.

The cottage is absolutely stunning. It’s warm and very cosy. The fields to walk the dogs were perfect! All fenced off and a path mowed in to follow. The hosts of the cottage are extremely welcoming and helpful with what to do in the area. The pulley stopped working in the bathroom and they were soon over to fix it with no bother. We will definitely stay again to explore more and to see what plans have begun to the gorgeous space. We have loved it! And also the basket of goodies was such a warm welcoming touch! Thank you!
Only a few home from home bits, nothing that should put you off or bother you really!
- Some board games / playing cards would have been a cute touch
- a bigger TV : hard to see and read where the sofa is / move that space around?
- Gin glasses for those gin lovers like me 😉
- Curtains / blinds on the extension downstairs windows as the dogs were very excited to see everyone and everything going off
but honestly everything is perfect!
