Location - one of the first guest houses after the hike from Theth to Valbona

Cleanliness and location

Very (very) lovely family run guesthouse with a great location. It’s next to the trailhead and near the meeting point for taxi pickups and such, which is why I chose it. We stayed in a family room and I liked that they are individual cabins.

For a family room they should have more electrical outlets. We had to share.

This property is located in a gorgeous area of the Valbona valley and conveniently located very close to the trail. We had dinner at the place which was delicious and the breakfast was pretty good too. The best of this accommodation without a doubt is the family running it. They are the loveliest people and our stay felt more like we were staying with family which was lovely. If you’re doing the Valbona-Theth trail, this is the place to stay.

Perhaps this is to do with the rustic aspect of the property but the bathroom got very damp after showering and the smell of dampness lingered even after hours of using the bathroom. Perhaps an extractor would help.

The staff is incredibly hospitable - they will literally make you feel like a long lost cousin. The rooms are cute little cottages and the food is all fresh and home made.
