The Headlands - Gower

Location fabulous and property light and airey with excellent facilities within the property. The layout with fabulous bathroom wet room on ground floor was, exceptional.

(Breakfast not relevant - we self-catered.) The decor and soft furnishings and especially the kitchen layout, were really good. Plenty of windows, light and sea views. Towels and bedding were top quality. And the bottle of Prosecco was a lovely welcome - thank you.

Didn't like the double beds - they were comfortable but we really needed king-sized. The chairs and sofa were quite uncomfortable - the squabs kept slipping off! A non-slip mat for both showers would be useful - we had to keep swapping it.

The location was ideal, close to the shops but not too far from the pier. Pretty central for exploring other areas and having parking makes life much easier. being on the front meant sea views from all bedrooms and provided a person is able to climb a flight of stairs and walk a few yards it would be good for someone with a minor disability. The shower facilities are excellent and the kitchen very well equipped. The standard of cleanliness was excellent and the first thing that struck me on entering was how lovely and fresh it smelled. Also close to pubs and restaurants but these did not intrude in any way with noise or rowdiness. Would definitely return here and highly recommend this beautiful property

Having never stayed in a property where we have to put the rubbish out we found the recycling a little confusing and were unsure where to put what initially. A slightly more detailed explanation in the blue information folder would be helpful. The only other minor thing was that several of the handles on the chests of drawers kept coming off but this was just a minor inconvenience

Great location, well-appointed comfy home.

Would have preferred a wider bed in master bedroom, just personal choice though.
