A hotel-level stay — the room was spacious and spotless, and the host was very friendly. There are plenty of shops nearby, making it very convenient.

I can hardly think of anything negative, but it rained the whole time during my stay. The host mentioned there’s a beautiful walking trail nearby, but I didn’t get the chance to visit it.

They don’t use a key — instead, it’s a short door code, which works quite well. The only issue is that at night, the keypad is a bit hard to see.

It was perfect—almost nothing to complain about. The host was very friendly.

The room was very spacious—the largest I’ve ever stayed in at an Airbnb. The location was excellent, very close to both the tourist and shopping areas, with a large supermarket and various restaurants nearby. The host was extremely friendly, proactively offered help, and enthusiastically introduced the surrounding area. The room had a private entrance , was very quiet, and allowed for complete privacy without any disturbance from the host(which is quite rare for Airbnbs).

There was almost nothing to be dissatisfied with — everything was great, a truly perfect experience.

Private suite recommended for budget-conscious travellers

Price (cheapest private stay I could find semi close to the airport) - Room, quality was better than expected (because the focus was on price, I didn't expect much, but the room was clean and comfortable) - Location was quiet and private; back alley access was greatly appreciated, making it super close to the supermarket, bus stop, etc

It would have been nice and simply looked more professional to provide more than a quarter of a roll of toilet paper...

It is not immediately clear how to open the combination lock. It is quite far from the center, and in the morning or late evening buses run every 20-30 minutes.

I didn't check in directly with the owner and checked out without a word. It was nice because the nearby store and restaurant were very close. It is very quiet around. The transportation is convenient. There is also a separate bathroom.

Ok, just not a good fit for us.

Parking at door. Private. Late flight, liked the no hassle check in. Bed was comfy.. Slide slip ons appreciated, the floor was cold.

Gate wouldn't close. Gate banged all night with the wind,. Room was cold, baseboard heat but no temperature controls in the room. No facecloths but there were hand towels and bath towels. Coffee pot was dirty and still had someone else's left over coffee in it.

Our host was lovely and went above and beyond to accommodate for our needs. The suite was a perfect location in a quiet lovely neighbourhood, close to shops and a short drive to the airport. Everything was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The perfect place to recuperate between flights. Will be staying again next time I’m using YVR! Can’t recommend enough :)

The property was unlocked when I arrived -the bed had no sheets - just a fitted and cover :(. There was a HUGE pile of dust bunnies under the bed - my allergies kicked into full outbreak overnight. The basics are here - tea , coffee , tv - just didn’t scream we clean the sheets - ever:(

Other than the pillows, our stay was very pleasant.

The location was 15 minutes from the Vancouver airport by car. Steveston was within easy reach. The bed was comfortable. Most of the things needed were provided.

The pillows were very large and firm. We ended up not using the supplied pillows at all, but trying to make pillows out of our clothing. This did not work well.
