FITZ ROY Annecy Rent Lodge

The location is a winner here. We only stayed 2 nights and didn’t use the property for much other than sleeping and showering. The location is in the old town and is a short walk from anywhere we wanted to go. The apartment is clean and you could do your cooking in there easily. TV is a smart TV so was easy to log into my Netflix for the end of the day before settling into bed. If you want to explore annecy without spending a fortune on somewhere you only want to rest, this place is fantastic! We didn’t do the breakfast delivery because there is an amazing brunch place called Haven just around the corner - highly recommend if you want a nice breakfast/brunch! Photos of the Notre-Dame (use this as your reference point for getting back to the flat) and the breakfast at Haven.

Parking isn’t at the property and is an extra cost. We were stopping as a little layover from the south of France and had a lot of things in the car. The recommended parking was a short walk away in a large multi story. In normal circumstances it would be fine but my partner had all of his golf clubs in the car and leaving them in a public car park had us a little less relaxed than we’d have like to be. The way into the property is, in Britain, somewhere you’d dread to be, but we came to and from there with no issues and felt silly for being a bit “eek” when we first opened the door into the flats.

L’emplacement est idéal… plein centre, proche de toutes commodités..

L’immeuble est quasi en train de s’effondrer… nous n’étions vraiment pas rassurées… L’appartement est sombre. La propreté laisse à désirer : linge sale des ancien locataire dans le dressing, vaisselle et tiroir à couvert sales (nous avons dû tout nettoyer en arrivant), douche pleine de calcaire et de moisissures… Matériel laisse à désirer : coussin trop épais et dures, pas assez de vaisselle…. La décoration est de très mauvais goût avec des tableaux figurant des visages bizarres, sombres et inquiétants… Le porte clé est trop gros pour la boîte à clé…
