Exceptional location between lake and pedestrian street

This is a delightful apartment to stay at. Location-wise, it's in the heart of the old-town, yet just a very short stroll to the lake. Absolutely perfect! Given the beautiful style of the buildings, expect several stairs up to the fourth floor, but you will be rewarded with a great view over the street below - it's pedestrianised and we weren't disturbed by noise. The apartment was clean, tastefully furnished, and the owner couldn't have been more helpful, responding to any questions very quickly: we contacted him to ask if there was an iron we could use, and a steamer was produced promptly. With a separate loo, the bathroom sink and shower is incorporated in with the bedroom. Whilst there is no air-con (typical of most old-town apartments), the fan kept us cool even in the sweltering temperatures of July. There is a little terrace between the inner and outer front doors. (The apartment is the owner's home, so you should expect to find personal effects throughout the property).

Somewhere to hang clothes and/or some shelving for clothes would have been appreciated, especially for those staying longer than just a couple of days. (I ended up using the bar-stools for clothes storage).

Très bonne localisation . Belle décoration générale, parquet et poutres en bois ajoutent à l’ambiance . Insonorisation par rapport à l’extérieur

Absence de détection / protection incendie /éclairage de secours alors que tout est en bois et que 2 étages en-dessous il y a une cuisine de restaurant (réglementaire ?) Lit très petit pour deux (1,4m de large) et literie moyenne. Douche avec uniquement une douchette manuelle et pas de tête de douche en hauteur. Petit évier à côté du lit. Couloir d’accès sale et accès au 3ème étage via escalier tournant peu aisé . Absence de climatisation pour le prix. Grand panneau en « carton «  pour cacher la cheminée gâche la déco .
