Best location, plenty of space, great host, enjoy the stairs.

Brilliant location, so perfect for Christmas markets. Lovely responsive host and comfortable beds. The space feels like a country holiday cottage - plenty of supplies, but guests should know the staircases are steep and bathroom & kitchen fittings are more quirky than modern.

Wonderful, enjoyed our stay very much.

Location was great, St Catherine is a favourite area of ours great choice of places to eat and drink. Loved the feel of the of the place, was homely and indeed charming. Quiet retreat at the end of sightseeing days. Kitchen well equipped had everything we required. Good, thoughtful information provided about Brussels in the form of leaflets and books. Enjoyed our stay here very much and would return. Thank you so much for having us.

Could benefit from a little upgrade - bedding and towels, although clean enough lacked freshness. The water temperature for bathing was a little inconsistent verging on the tepid side of warm. Although we were made aware of the stairs being steep they were in need of more secure handrails, possibly on each side.

Great apartment and value for money

The apartment was a large size, and really nicely decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with different electricals, crockery, and some basic items (e.g., oil, salt, spices, etc.). The flat was within an easy walking distance of central landmarks and nearby supermarkets.

There were only 2 real negatives (although I still think the apartment was great value despite these, and would book again). First, the two sets of stairs for the apartment are really off centre, making them difficult to go up or down quickly (we all had good mobility). The second is that sometimes, as you approached the apartment door from the outside, there was a distinct drainage smell.

Great location but apartment needs a little more work to make safe and clean.

Generally cleanliness could have been better. Wooden struts at side of stairs extremely dangerous - broken and could easily give way if any weight inadvertently put on them.

Amazing apartment in a perfect location. Highly recommend!

The apartment is very spacious and full of character. The main lounge/living area is really cosy and perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the city. Location wise, the property couldn’t be in a better area with great restaurants, bars and shops on your doorstep. I would definitely like to stay in this apartment again if visiting Brussels.

Overall the apartment was pretty clean, but the oven baking tray had lots of crumbs/pastry inside from previous guests. The shower took a bit of getting used to where if you turned the knob in a specific position, the water shot outside of the cubicle (and on you). It needs to be moved directly to the 3 o’clock position to avoid a drenching. Oh, and the stairs are very steep, so something to consider.

Great location, poor cleanliness

Brilliant central location. Quiet and plenty space. Comfortable beds. If the bedding and towels were renewed and a better cleaning routine was in place this would have been 10 out of 10.

Apartment was dirty on arrival. Spent the first couple of hours cleaning the bathroom, toilet and kitchen. Bedding and towels need an upgrade. Dishwasher didn't work and there was no washing machine although one was mentioned in the facilities list. Very steep stairs that visitors need to be made aware of. Many of the bannisters at the side are broken.

Great stay with friends coupled with self-cooked meals.

Various rooms to use in the property were good especially when planned to cook some meals. The kitchen and dining rooms were probably the best part of the property. Also, there was a stereo with a selection of CDs for good classical music.

Access was a bit tricky but manageable. No elevator was available but the apartment was on a floor above a ground floor.

Great location, spacious, quiet, perfect for a medium group. The instructions from the host were pretty detailed. The apartment was clean.

I would like to see a couple of extra towels, bed sheets and blankets. The latter for more convenient sleeping on the double beds and the couch.

a most amazing place to stay, in a fabulous area with everything you need

the property was lovely, a gorgeous flat in a wonderful area close to all amenities you would need. well presented with everything you could ask for, comfy beds, full kitchen, beautifully decorated. there were 6 of us who stayed, a mix group of friends, the apartment slept us all well and we enjoyed living there for 4 days. the stairs are steep to get up but it kept us fit !

an extra set of keys would have helped us, due to being a big group we could have used a few sets

Pleasant and spacious centric apartment

Beautiful apartment with a very nice living room. The apartment was centrally located and yet quiet, which was great to get some rest. The apartment is well equipped and even viable for longer stays. Also great to travel as a family since it offers two separate rooms (one with a double bed and the other with two twin beds), a kitchen, dining table and a large living room area for kids and parents to watch TV, read, play, etc.

Despite the stay being good, we sometimes noticed a small lack of attention to detail in the way the apartment was cleaned (again, it was clean overall) and some minor imperfections around the apartment to be expected of that kind of older buildings. Other than that, the two most noteworthy things to know before booking are: the stairs are narrow and steep, such that it would not be very well suited for people with mobility issues, and there seems to be a building in front with an automatic on/off light system that can sometimes be a bit annoying at night.

Cheaper than a hotel both in price and experience, but nice potential that needs investment.

The location is amazing, the flat was very clean and is indeed charming. The living room is luminous and spacious. The bathroom is spacious.

The bedrooms are dark. Most of the furniture is a bit cheap and unstable. Three out of four taps are slightly broken and spit water instead of just let it out. The shower is old and broken, one cannot hang the shower-head anywhere. There lacked clear instructions about where to find the key as well as to how to access the flat (we had to try the key in every door before finding the right one.

Recomendable

Localización extraordinaria, en pleno centro. Pese a estar en una zona de muchas terrazas, en el apartamento no se oía ni un ruido. Comunicación fácil y fluida con el propietario. Puedes dejar las maletas antes de la hora de entrada y recogerlas después de la hora establecida para la salida. La cocina y el baño tenía de todo. El salón/comedor y cocina están en la planta superior y es un espacio muy grande, cómodo y con bastante luz natural. Tiene dos dormitorios en la planta baja y un sofá-cama de dos plazas en el piso de arriba, en el salón. También hay disponible un colchón de dos plazas.

La entrada al edificio es un poco tétrica. El apartamento tiene dos tramos de escaleras un poco peligrosos (escalones estrechos y con bastante pendiente). Era difícil regular la temperatura del agua de la ducha. Era más fácil en la bañera. El wc está fuera del baño en un cuarto pequeño en el que también hay un lavabo y un espejito. En el baño hay dos lavabos, una ducha y una bañera (todo en el mismo espacio). Tiene lavaplatos, pero no fuimos capaces de hacerlo funcionar.

Pésimo

la ubicación era excelente

El primer día por la noche, íbamos a dormir en la parte de arriba escuchamos un ruido y era una rata que se había quedado pillada en un trampa que tenían puesta, después de eso ya no volvimos a subir más a la parte de arriba, debajo del fregadero estaba lleno de cacas de rata con lo cual supongo que no solo habría esa y habría más. Las escaleras fatal, no son aptas ni para personas mayores ni para niños. Una limpieza a la casa no le vendría mal dado que nos encontramos una araña gigante en el baño donde la ducha y había telarañas por todas partes.

Appartement très bien situé, proche de la Grand'Place - Beaucoup d'espace (nous étions 5) -

L'appartement est très bien situé et spacieux. Les contacts se sont fait par mail, ont été efficaces. Nous avons pu laissé les bagages jusqu'à 15h30 le jour de notre départ.

Il manque une bonne cafetière. Les escaliers peuvent gêner certaines personnes mais pas nous qui sommes en bonne condition physique.

Estancia mejorable, demasiados problemas con calefacción y agua caliente

La ubicación es perfecta. El salón de la planta de arriba muy amplio y con cocina bien equipada. Las camas muy cómodas.

Tuvimos un problema con la calefacción y el agua caliente durante 3 de los 4 días (casa fría y sin poder ducharnos). Aunque Pierre estuvo pendiente, es algo que se debe solucionar, ya que pasamos frío en la casa y no pudimos hacer uso más que una vez de un servicio básico como es la ducha. La limpieza es muy mejorable, cuando llegamos la vitrocerámica estaba sucia de los inquilinos anteriores. Por último el acceso por las estrechas escaleras es complicado, no apto para personas con movilidad reducida ni niños pequeños.

Ubicación muy buena, ojo las paredes

Ubicación fantástica, apartamento bien equipado y el dueño muy amable. Nos dejaron dejar las maletas el día del check-out hasta las 19:30 ya que nuestro avión salía por la noche.

Algunas zonas les faltaba un poco de limpieza y el radiador del baño no funcionaba. Las paredes son extremadamente finas y la habitación de matrimonio da pared con pared a un piso de estudiantes. La primera noche nos despertaron a las 3am cuando volvían de fiesta porque hablaban alto (no le dimos importancia) pero la tercera noche cuando llegamos de cenar en el portal no paraba de llegar gente con bolsas de alcohol y que no se conocían entre ellos (solo se preguntaban en multiples idiomas si iban a la fiesta de Natalia y se presentaban entre ellos) esa noche se desmadró la situación, nos quejamos al dueño y conseguimos que bajaran el volumen para dormirnos sobre las 12 pero una hora y media más tarde se vinieron de nuevo arriba y nos despertaron a gritos lo que fue realmente horrible.

Recomendable duplex muy céntrico

Ubicación excepcional. Lugar cálido con todo lo necesario. Anfitrión atento y amable, nos permitió dejar las maletas al llegar antes del check in y el día de vuelta hasta las 18:00h.

El sofá cama estaba roto y era muy duro. El agua de la ducha salía ardiendo sin posibilidad de regularla Camas muy incómodas y muebles muy viejos. Esta dividido en tres plantas con dos tiros de escaleras muy peligrosas, escalones muy empinados y estrechos. Limpieza muy mejorable.

Muy bien

La ubicación fue espectacular a escasos minutos de todos los puntos de interés de Bruselas además que estaba muy cerca la Estación Central. Zona muy segura con muchos locales cerca, tanto de ocio como supermercados. El alojamiento estaba muy limpio y cuidado. Cumplía con lo descrito. Piere en todo momento estuvo atento e incluso nos dejo dejar las maletas antes de la hora de la entrada.

Aunque la ubicación es inmejorable, la accesibilidad es bastante complicada

La ubicación es fantástica y el dueño del apartamento ha resuelto todas mis dudas cuando le he escrito casi de manera inmediata. Además nos facilitó el poder dejar las maletas el último día por lo que pudimos aprovechar a movernos cómodamente por la ciudad sin ellas.

La accesibilidad es complicada, en general en Bruselas. En este caso, hay dos tramos de escaleras de madera muy inclinadas que pueden ser un problema para personas que no tengan buena movilidad o incluso en el caso de ir con niños pequeños. Por otro lado, solo hay un baño por lo que puede resultar insuficiente en función de las personas que se alojen en el apartamento. La limpieza es bastante mejorable.
