Not good enough, waste of money

Location is good.

HOWEVER, this was first time we was lost getting to a property or Airbnb. The address they give you do not match with the road name. They should give What3words or coordinates. There was no picture of the building and name on the building so how on earth are you supposed to find it. Also it’s a one way road which they don’t mention, so it took us 30mins driving down all the roads to come out at the back as googlemaps kept bringing us out on the wrong side. Also the host recommends a parking lot which is miles away and with all your bags it’s very far. But there is underground parking 2mins walk. So I have no idea why they recommended the far away parking. The worst part is the noise, constant noises from the paper thin ceiling above. Hosts also own above, and people up there kept us up all dam night and woke us up every night during our 4 night stay! They must of been younger and going out partying and coming back late. You can literally hear them walking room to room! All you hear is them walking around, stamping, jumping, creaky floor boards it was insane! So for the money it certainly is not worth it. Also the apartment we were in also have very very creaky boards, why??? Get it fixed! Also water pressure is silly, you cannot enjoy a good shower, very very low pressure. So we hated out stay. Only good thing was the location and that’s it!!! So if you want to relaxing place this is not it!!

The best part of the property is the location! It is very close to the Grand Plaza. It is in the heart of Brussels and can walk to everywhere. There is a Carrefour supermarket in 3 minutes walk. The apartment is pretty new and spacious. We stayed on the 3rd floor 2 bedroom unit. The living area was big with windows floor to ceiling, open to the kitchen. The bed sheets were crispy clean and new compared to the bath towels.

The sectional sofa in the living area is wore and not that clean. The dish washer had dirty plates loaded in the lower-level rack. It seemed the cleaning team didn't finish the all clean job. The bigger nonstick pan was not usable because of the damaged layer. The smaller pan is OK. All the bath towels were clean but old, not absorb water enough. Need to be changed. The two bedrooms are actually a very big room with a sliding door in between. Not anything bad but unexpected.

Please consider somewhere else for a longer stay

The apartment was mostly updated. It was spacious for a family of 4.

1. The lift was broken. We had to leave luggage in a closet that was 3 floors up. When trying to get the luggage out, the code didn't work. It was stressful. All of our belongings were in there. Had to call a number for help. Woman mentioned the code and lock are tricky. 2. The bathroom was not clean. Dirty, brown grout on tiles in bathroom. 3. Water comes spraying out of bathroom sink. You get drenched each time. 4. No bathmats so when you shower water falls out, which has caused brown water damage on the adjacent wall. 5. Air conditioner puddles water causing a hazard in hallway. 6. Cleaning woman scared the crap out of us! She herself in without knocking in the afternoon! She was nice, but still, that was creepy. 7. Thank goodness this wasn't a week long stay.

Clean and comfortable apartment well located for getting around Brussels

The location was good, a short walk from the metro, it is a very large spacious apartment, with everything anyone would need for a short or longer stay, the bed was comfortable, and it was clean. Wifi worked OK for checking emails, looked like it would be enough for work calls too.

The aircon wasn't working - I didn't really need it much, so it wasn't much of an issue, but in summer it would be a problem.

Good central location comfortable and clean apartment

The property was central a 30 minute walk from the Eurostar and 10 minute walk from the train station. The apartment was Spacious and comfortable. Very well equipped and clean. We didn’t use the kitchen but there was plenty of crockery and cooking facilities.

Due to the location it was quite noisy during the night but you would expect that in a city centre. The apartment only had one mirror in the main bathroom whilst we aren’t that fussy about looking in the mirror we all had to share one mirror, there was not one in the bathroom upstairs or in the toilet. Also there were no mugs or cups and saucers only very small IKEA coffee cups. Minor things.

Loveless and impersonal

Great location, modern interior

- No real communication. E.g. we were not provided the flat number with 4 appartements in the house, we got only the house and the appt. entry code. A question via sms was not answered. - There was no wifi password or instructions in the room. - I booked for 5 adults an appt. with 2 double beds and sleeping couch in the living room. It was only provided for bed linens for the two double beds. We got only 3 towels sets. I did never encounter this lack of preparation to suit the correct number of people. - The second double bed is in the attic, where the ceiling is max. 1,75m high. The 2nd bathroom is also in this attic and has no door to the bedroom or in the shower. So, when you shower the floor also in front of the toilet gets wet. Both rooms are also in the pictures. Crazily no wipers are provided to increase the drying process. Given the points before the price charged for the weekend for 5 adults is not justified. Especially when the communication is so generic.

Beautiful and modern apartment; a couple minor caveats.

Loved this large, modern apartment with spacious living room and excellent location. Loved the espresso machine, large windows and wonderful bathrooms. Elevator and A/C were great bonuses. There is a large dining table for 8 and lots of space. Place was immaculate.

The upstairs loft is awkward to stand in given the sloping ceilings. Even though there is an elevator to the apartment, there is another flight of stairs upon entering the front door, and yet another to reach the upstairs loft. This was not clear in the description and would be good to know for those with any mobility issues. Also the loft has no counter space at all, including the bathroom. There is a small table however. Limited cooking utensils, knives, etc but kitchen is gorgeous. No laundry in this building. Street out front is torn up so it is uneven gravel all around; when this construction is done it will be fabulous.

Excellent apartment to stay in heart of brussels! Close to Grot Markt

Excellent location. Really spacious apartments with access to everything at 5 mins! Try out the Excellent food joints right behind the building e.g. Charli or Nona. The quality of interiors and upholstery makes you feel right at home and is something our family loved. Really great for families of 4 to 5 people.

We paid a higher price than usual and that's the only thing we found negative . Also a photo to identify the entrance door once we reach the check in date will help

Very good

The apartment is indeed noticeably spacious - it's on the first floor, and there is a lift (or stairs) to reach it. It's in a great spot for the Grand Place, and has many bars and restaurants in the vicinity. It's at a busy intersection, which is great for people watching by day, but at night would probably suit someone who is used to living in a city. All of the kitchen facilities, and the wifi, work well, the bed is super comfortable, and the apartment is warm (thankfully, in January)

The main issue was the handling of the whole engagement. With the booking acceptance, there's a link to a form where you have to sign a short term lease agreement, making you responsible for your behaviour. This might be common on other booking sites, but in many years of travelling with booking.com, I've never been asked to sign such a form before. Much of its content indeed is fair - no illegal activities, no parties, etc - but it also makes you liable for any damages. Even after they have taken money from your card, the key code details aren't be provided until you sign. One other niggle. Check in is from 3pm, which is what we had specified we needed, but the cleaner was a long way from finished when we arrived at 3:15, so we could only dump bags rather than getting changed to go out. I'm sure such a contract won't be an issue to many visitors, and it doesn't detract from the accommodation itself, but the heading says "what didn't you like" and we felt this heavy, one-sided approach influenced our enjoyment

Perfect location right in the middle of everything! Lots of amazing food and shopping right downstairs and the architecture was great. So much to see, right at your fingertips. No need to travel elsewhere. Easy to get in with door code. The customer service was great! We'd definitely stay here again!
