The location has to be the best thing about The Palm suite apartment. It’s accessible to everything in York city centre but also quiet for a central location.
The added car parking space was a brilliant bonus as parking is like gold in the centre.
The apartment needs a deep clean. The shower tiles were visibly dirty, not helped by the type of tile choice but imagine quite labouring to clean fully after each guest. We also found a considerable amount of hair on the mattress topper we chose to use in the wardrobe on the firm mattress.
The apartment is described as ‘luxury’. Location and on first appearances, yes, but when you look closer things like basic kitchenware and general cleanliness aren’t at that level.

Drain smell which is a known problem and shower blockage but this was sorted.

Very well decorated and clean place.
Lovely space in the balcony to have a coffee and a meal.
Bed was two single beds put together instead of a double bed.
