The view was amazing. It was so nice looking out the window and watching the gondolas and other boats go by, but there’s not much space to sit at the window. It was also very close to St Mark’s square.
It was a bit hard to arrange check-in with back and forth messaging over WhatsApp, but it was much easier once she called me. The apartment could use some renovation, but we understand it’s an old building. The kitchen was useful but only 1 person can fit in it at a time, and the fridge was not cold enough (10 degrees C). It had everything we needed.

The greatest advantage of this apartment is its location and also had a view of the (small) canal. It is also very close to the high end shopping stores.
The air conditioner in the bedroom is malfunctioning. We needed to drain it on our first day since it would not turn on. We had to drain it DAILY during our 3-night stay. The bathroom ceiling had a lot of cracks already. The fridge/freezer should also be replaced. Even putting it at the highest setting, it would not get cold. Freezer was also taped shut and was defrosting with the residual ice. We bought milk for our children and raw meat to be cooked but ended up throwing everything.
