Honeysuckle Cottage

Beautiful cottage. Very clean and homely with wonderful walks nearby for our dog. Lia was wonderful, so kind and very responsive. Had a lovely stay!

The cottage was lovely. It was spotlessly clean and it contained everything you needed to ensure your stay was enjoyable. The owner responded quickly to any queries before our arrival even asking, which milk we would like her to get for us. If we are visiting the area again, which we hope to in the future, I would definitely use the cottage. I highly recommend this as somewhere to stay. We only stayed one night on our way back from South Wales but we wished we had booked two nights as the countryside around is beautiful.

Our host Lia was incredibly helpful with her pre arrival information, making it easy to find the property, park right outside and gain entry. The cottage was incredibly clean and easy to use, the heating hub in particular was excellent and made temperature adjustment a breeze. The bathroom was modern and clean, although the window was older and seemed difficult to open, but there is a good fan linked to the light. I'm a light sleeper, so I was happy that the road outside is quiet at night but the old style Venetian blinds meant that my room (the single) is a quite bright early (in Spring/Summer). But to be fair, my sisters had no complaints! The cottage is very convenient for Hereford, nice and close to the lovely River Wye nearby. We enjoyed the Bunch of Carrots pub (on the banks but below them) for dinner. To actually sit by the Wye you can go to campground cafe just down the road. Our stay was really good value, as it enabled us to have a nice place with three separate rooms and great access to Hereford. Thank you Lia!
