Comfy, cosy cottage and excellent value for money

Lovely cottage and very good value for money. It had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and it has a nice strong shower. It’s right on the main road and the parking space is right outside the house, very handy. It was lovely and warm when we got there late at night. Would highly recommend and would stay again if in the area.

The perfect retreat to see in the New Year!

We loved everything about it. We were looking for a quiet place to see in the New Year and it was exactly what we got. The house is lovely. The living room feels cosy and the beds very comfortable. It was also great to have a well equipped kitchen. The surrounding area was fabulous and we started 2026 with a walk around the Mordiford Dragon trail before having the best lunch at the Moon Inn, the local pub.

Nothing. It had to find something, it would have been a bonus to have a second toilet but for a short stay it wasn’t a problem.

A lovely cottage in a quiet location.

It was clean, warm and comfortable. Communication with Lia was excellent.

No blind in the kitchen for privacy in the evening. Toilet flush mechanism faulty.

Best place ever.....

This house is beautiful and in a fantastic location, lots of little dog walks around, the host was very communicative and lovely, even after I left something behind which was received today, thank you so much :) I will definitely be booking again as it's so convenient, I've been looking for somewhere in Hereford as I'm here at least once a month and I believe I've found the place.

Honeysuckle Cottage was in a beautiful location that was really convenient for us. It was really comfortable and felt like a home from home. Cleanliness was good. The cottage was in a quiet location.

Great contact from the host which started as soon as the booking was made. Wonderful house and location.

Very minor points. Could had done with more small drinks glasses. Plenty for beer and wine. Ideally need some more small glasses for water. The single bed frame creeks a little when our teenager shuffled about in bed

Fabulous stay!

We loved this cottage so much! It was modern, spotless, well equipped, and located in such a beautiful area. There’s a pub just down the road which is really convenient. The garden is lovely and we loved hearing the sound of the beck whenever we sat outside. There is parking just outside the property which is handy. The beds were super comfy too! Oh and Lia was lovely and left milk for us which we really appreciated. Thanks Lia x

Superb location. 5km2 of forest and trails within a 5 minute walk - ideal for dog walking. Lovely pub with home cooked food down the road. Very accommodating host.

Only one pillow per person. Two pillows would have allowed us to sleep more comfortably.

Such a lovely, cozy cottage. It had a wonderful home from home feel and well equipped for your every need.

Just one minor issue was the shower leaking over the bathroom floor because the shower door seal needs replacing. We were left plenty of towels though so wasn’t a problem.

Great property in an amazing setting

Excellent property, very clean and modern in a traditional setting. The property is 3 mins from the pub and 1 min from 2 footpaths up into the hills offering amazing views and woodland

Wonderful location, house was clean & tidy, everything worked (TV, toaster, oven, kettle, shower etc.), rooms were spotless & furniture / fittings of good quality. Not far from Hereford which is 10-15 mins away. Bunch of Carrots pub about 5 mins away by car recommended for food.

Gorgeous cottage!

The cottage was very clean and well appointed. Lia was extremely responsive and friendly and helped make our stay flawless. The little brook at the back of the garden was delightful to sit out and listen to. There wasn't anything else that could have been provided to make it better. Dinner at the Moon Inn was delectable and a short walk down the hill.
