The property was clean and tidy, and very modern! All the furnishings were comfortable and so plush. The flat itself felt spacious and lots of homely touches really helped us get settled in, i.e. an iron and ironing board, a hairdryer, an air fryer. Overall, a lot of care and attention has been put into these flats and it shows. So comfortable. The location is also great, really central, with the city centre being only a couple of minutes' walk away.
The bathroom is a little bit of a death trap. The floor gets slippy VERY easily and stays that way for some time. We tried to use the smaller towels provided as bath mats to stop water getting out the shower but they were sodden and unusable afterwards. Some of the ceilings were also a bit low for my 6ft husband.

The administration by the hosts . I booked this property as it was advertised as dog friendly and no further charges for pets on their listing.
I paid the price of listing, then i was contacted to say the dog was a extra £50charge. I questioned this and was told it was a administrative error and the £50 needed to be paid. I was given bank account details to pay the £50 into. Wondering if anyone else has had this?
The hosts. repeatedly asks me for ID that I had already provided. Even on the morning i was travelling received a email saying my key code would not be activated unless i provided ID.
This had already been provided and told them twice before to check their records.
I again had to email a copy of my id to the person who just sent me the email, who was the person who sent me a confirmation email weeks before saying thank you for providing your ID. Not very professional, also not nice to be told on your way to the property that you would not be able to enter.
The flat is nicely decorated and good location for town. Its layout didn't work for us, there is no privacy between any of the rooms only decorative metal screen dividers that allow for no sound or light barrier.
If someone is in bed then you cant watch tv make a cup of tea even without the noise waking them up. Its more of a studio flat feel. There is a lot of road noise too if you want to sleep with a window open on a hot night like it was this weekend.
