Perfect location just a few blocks from Monets house. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance. It was clean and comfortable and the two private terraces were wonderful.

Only one small pillow apiece. These old bones needed more support. Otherwise perfect!

Our second visit. Excellent base to visit the Monet gardens.

Location for visiting the Monet Garden and museum is excellent. Given the cost of other accommodation in the village of Giverny, we consider Clos d'eglise to be of excellent value. The apartment is well equipped, very clean and in a delightful setting.

Instruction for code for key box were sent by Whatapp and didn't arrive. I contacted the owner by text as we were nearing Giverny and arranged for the details to be sent to Whatsapp on another number. It would be helpful if instructions were sent earlier, perhaps the day before arrival or on payment and maybe also sent through Booking.com message system. Parking is conveniently opposite the apartment. However, it is public so can be full, we had to wait for a little while for a space to become available.

Bad for sleeping

Well-equiped kitchen. In the main area, just next to the gardens. But very far away from a supermarket...

Bad bed sheets. Need to be renewed. Smells bad. Bad sofa Bad. Few toilette paper. Noisy because of the people upstairs- i couldn't sleep.

Pretty Gite in a pretty village.

Next to the church where Monet is buried and a short stroll through the pretty village to his house and garden. There is a bed settee in the kitchen/diner so my sister slept there and I had the bedroom. Great to be able to cook or microwave meals and eat them outside the flat. Nespresso machine handy for first coffee of the day! There are lots of good coffee shops in the village too. It is a pretty Gite in a pretty village. I also liked that the flat next door had people staying and sometimes I could hear children from the family upstairs, so I didn’t feel isolated.

There is a slight smell of damp when you first walk in but nothing awful.

GREAT LOCATION on the QUIET SIDE of the village. NICE LITTLE KITCHEN.

Excellent location. Quiet side of town. Walking distance to everything. VERY responsive manager. Nice outside tables. Useful kitchen. JUST BE SURE TO GET YOUR GROCERIES IN VERNON....as there are no stores in Giverney. OR JUST PLAN TO EAT OUT. Lots of nice little cafes and bakeries. Our host also arranged for a cab to the Train Station. Good idea to book this ahead of time!!

Very poor lighting in the bathroom....not good to do makeup. Since local cafes open LATER in the morning, perhaps the refrigerator could be stocked with a few more basic items....sugar, creamer, coffee. Maybe breakfast food, too? We like to get up early and be active. We made oatmeal, brought fruit, toast and jam. But we were sorry we had no milk. Would LOVE to have FRENCH PRESS available for coffee.

Highly recommend staying here overnight, and enjoying Giverny instead of racing from Paris.

Lovely place , clean, comfortable , well stocked kitchen , on the main street of a beautiful village that is quiet in the evening. We had the whole village to ourselves, and were able to be the first into Monets House and Gardens and the Impressionist Museum the next morning. Host was very helpful , explaining that there was no grocery etc in the town, so we stocked up in Vernon

Perfect Location for Wedding!

The venue was right next to the church and reception venue for the wedding we were attending so, was perfectly located! The accommodation had all the facilities we required. The host was really helpful, giving us the information we needed and in good time. He also offered to post an item we’d forgotten back to us at no charge!

Works fine for a relaxed overnight stay in Giverny

Comfortable family place with twin beds and sofa bed, kitchen & fridge available (but no store in Giverny; restaurant with breakfast close by), at the quieter end of Giverny right next to the church with Monets grave (meaning ca 10-15 min walk to Monet garden), easy parking in front of house

well equipped but somehow there is no “wow” for the price being a bit anonymous on the ground floor of an older villa and with no contact to owners except mail (but then: everything was fine…)

Small apartment, clean and close to restaurants and venues.

The building location was convenient to our event and the other activities we were doing. The apartment was on the right hand side of the first floor. Overall, the place was clean and had all the amenities one might expect. Hosts were communicative.

There was only one small fan and it was very hot in Giverny in July when we visited. It made sleeping comfortably very difficult and being on the first floor, we did not want to sleep with the windows open. It might be nice to have a ceiling fan installed in the bedroom to move the air a bit. Or for the property owners to provide a much bigger fan or more of them.

Great place, middle of Giverny, but be aware the village is very quiet at night.

The place is in Giverny, a stone's throw away from Monet's garden (and the impressionists museum). Place is very spacious, has all the utensils/amenities to cook a meal.

Not the property's fault, but be mindful that the village is small and doesn't have a supermarket/shop and that many places are closed in the evening (especially Sunday/Monday!) after most tourist leave. Plan accordingly and bring food if you plan to stay a while.

God Beliggenhed i forhold til formålet med besøget i Giverny. Smukt og autentisk gammelt hus.

Lejligheden bar tydelig præg af dårligt indeklima. Den dårlige luft/lugt blev forsøgt kompenseret med adskillelige parfumerede duft poser, flasker og dispensere, hvilket efter vor mening, ikke gjorde situationen bedre. Nogle af håndklæderne lugtede kraftigt af røg og andre havde dårlig lugt generelt, når de blev anvendt. Tag evt. egne håndklæder med. Dyner/sengetøj lugtede surt.

De locatie en de charme, de tips van de host voor bv eetgelegenheden. We aten bij ‘Le Baudy’ op het terras, ons lekkerste eten deze vakantie, aanrader!!

Het is wel wat vochtig. En de nacht was warm. Natuurlijk is dit logisch bij zo’n oud pand. Je kiest er ook voor vanwege de charme. Al met al prima!

Dall’esterno la casa è una delle più belle di Giverny, infatti è molto fotografata Posizione ottima con parcheggio gratuito di fronte Clément è stato un ottimo padrone di casa e ci ha fornito un sacco di suggerimenti Nel giardinetto è presente anche un tavolino per fare colazione fuori, e l’appartamento è fornito di tutto.

L’appartamento è umido ma è presente un deumidificatore per risolvere il problema.
