The location of the cottage was excellent, only a few hundred metres from Monet's house and garden. Giverny is a very pleasant village and it was an easy drive to other places of interest, eg.Les, Andelys, La Roche Gouyon, Versailles, Rouen. Sylvaine, our host, was lovely and very friendly. She greeted us on arrival and was at the cottage to say goodbye when we left. The cottage itself had a rustic charm and was very clean throughout.

Good location very close to the village. Comfortable beds and linens. Good garden and an extra loo downstairs. Owner speaks good English and very friendly and easy going.
Nothing but kitchen basic if you wanted to cook. There are no food shops locally in case you did! Plenty of restaurants in walking distance.

The breakfast that we cooked for ourselves was very good. The location was superb, two blocks to our destination, to which we walked several times a day. Convenient parking and lovely garden were well appreciated.
A coffee pod machine would have been better than the drip coffee maker, but that was OK. Would have preferred two rooms with Queen or King size beds, rather than two rooms each with twin beds and one room with a King bed. That was our particular situation, may not apply to all visitors.
