Fantastic location .Had everything we needed . Never any problems . Would highly recommend .Should I return to Giverny I would chose to stay there

Nothing wrong with the property but it is disappointing that there is no local supermarket to buy provisions

Great location for Monet’s house and the Impressionist Museum. Excellent, free parking. Well equipped, clean and tidy apartment, very quiet and tranquil with a lovely garden to relax in. The lady, Magallin (spelling?) was absolutely lovely, very friendly and helpful. They were kind enough to let us park the rest of the day at the property after we had already checked out. This was a huge bonus as it’s a tiny village and finding another parking space would have been a major challenge so we really appreciated the kindness.

The stairs are a little steep and narrow which wouldn’t work for anyone with limited mobility.

The flat is very close to the main attractions in Giverny and has a number of bars, restaurants and galleries within easy walking distance. It is quite well equipped for a short stay, with a good fridge, kettle, microwave, toaster, oven and even a small dishwasher. The bathroom has a great shower. Situated on the first floor above a gallery, it feels very secure. It also has parking though access to that is limited in the daytime. The lady who runs the gallery was very helpful and was able to confirm that no highly perfumed detergents were used to clean the flat or the bed linen.

We couldn't access the onsite parking on arrival as the road is blocked between 9am and 6.30pm. The gite manager can lower the barrier to allow access but didn't offer to do so. We parked in the free car park nearby but no directions were given to this until we'd driven around the village several times! It would also have been useful to have received advice on the timing of entry into Monet's garden. It's very busy and our host did advise visiting later in the afternoon, but only after we'd booked our tickets for a morning visit! The bedroom was cosy with very little space around the bed and way too hot as the bed had a thick duvet in it. However with limited options in Giverny, this is a good one.

The location was right inside Giverny very close to the gardens. parking was nearby. The staff was very helpful.
