Very clean comfortable room that easily accommodated our party of 4. Loved this place.

Clear easy communication from the host and easy secure access to our very comfortable accommodations. We arrived after hours but that was no problem. We parked on the street in a free parking spot less than 100m from the room but could have easily parked at the gallery. The yard was wonderful for relaxing in the evening and it was close and convenient to all the Monet things we wanted to see and do.

Completely met our expectations and would return for a longer stay without hesitation.

Sweet Apartment Near Monet's Gardens

This lovely apartment was just a few minutes away from the Gardens and perfect for an overnight stay. It has a small but adequate kitchen and is one flight up. No elevator. It is situated above an art gallery full of fabulous paintings by the owner. It is in a wonderful central location to visit all of Giverny and is just inside the pedestrian area, so you can freely walk and enjoy the multitudes of flowers and shops along the street. The gallery/rental manager is extremely nice and helpful and helped us tremendously when our scheduled driver ghosted us to take us to Chartres. She and her son knew just what to do and were so kind in helping us get to our next stop.

No air conditioning but windows open( no screens) and there is a floor fan. On a really hot day that might not be sufficient. Other than that, everything you need is here!

Amazing location, ambiance, well worth the cost. A totally enjoyable stay.

No breakfast provided but none promised and a cafe 100 yards away was perfect. The stay is immediately on the grounds of Giverny Gardens, supported by an extremely helpful hostess, totally what I needed.

Info on the hours of the closed-to-cars gate hour each day would have been helpful to know in advance, but merchants and the hostess were immediately accommodating for gaining entry.

No breakfast. My friend was very ill and they made an exception and let us enter early so she could go to bed. They were very helpful and couldn't have been more pleasant in dealing with us.

There could be two fans, because it was so hot and two of us were sleeping in different rooms.

Perfect little hideaway in Giverny.

The location could not have been better. It was fun to be able to walk around the village after the tourists had gone home.

I didn’t realize that there were two single beds instead of a double. The alcove was very small and it wasn’t practical to push them together.

Cute, cozy and clean apartment.

It was very cozy and cute. The room is above an Art Gallery and the location is perfect, being on Claude Monet street (the Main Street) The woman that receives you is very, very nice. The apartment has a kitchen and utensils for cooking. It is very clean and there is no noise at night. The view from the window is amazing.

The stairs are a little difficult to take if you bring big luggage.

You’re trapped with the parking. They have blockers in the road that prevent you from driving directly to the location unless the host comes out and lowers them. To have any freedom, you must park in public parking lot that is not located on the property.

the location is right next to Monet’s garden. The kitchen is not big but still equipped with dishwasher which helps a lot!

Since it is located within the walking zone, to drive out/into the property will require a assistant from the landlord. This is a bit inconvenient if every time we need to notify someone to open the gate.

Lovely apartment close to Monet's gardens

Location is superb - above a working artist studio and within a short walk to Monet's gardens. We loved walking through the small town of Giverny (though be aware that things close early if you don't have a vehicle - we were lucky to grab some cheese and bread from a restaurant!) Double check local events - we left early in the morning as the street was filling up for an antiques/craft fair, which looked great! We needed a taxi for an early train, and the host went out of her way to call around to try and help us find one. The beds were cozy. Only thing for those traveling with family - the door to the bathroom is frosted glass, though it is around a corner and easily avoided if you're wanting privacy!

3 minutes walk to the gardens

Very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Very friendly and helpful - we arrived on a Saturday afternoon and were able to leave the car in their private car park whilst we visited the gardens on Sunday morning. We recommend it. Also, Giverny is very quiet in the evening once all the visitors have gone home but does have several restaurants in the village and a good choice of supermarkets including Lidl nearby. There’s a big, free car park on the edge of Giverny if you don’t want to use their car park

They need to lower a bollard when you arrive and when you leave - it’s to stop traffic entering the centre of Giverny. However the bollard is down between 18.30 and 9.00 so you can come and go as you please during that time.

Clean, comfortable, excellent service and great location!

This appartement in the lovely town of Giverny is just a five minute walk from the gardens of Monet. It was clean, fully equipped and comfortable. Our host Florence Ramier was charming and very helpfull. The private parking was great! We stayed here with our two children (11 and 9) and we loved it. It was a fantastic experience to visit the gardens and the town of Giverny and stay above the Ramier Gallery filled with beautiful artwork.

We sincerely liked everything, the flat was clean, the location was perfect, lovely and helpful people, easy to access and easy to park your car. It's just next to the attractions of the village (museum, Monet's house etc) and to some nice restaurants.

We could not lock our apartment, the door lock was broken. I think you should either fix the door upfront, or decide not to rent the place while you cannot lock it. We had expensive camera material with us. It also did not come to the landlady's mind to give a discount.

Rispetto al prezzo pagato, sicuramente il comfort della stanza era molto basso. Eravamo in tre, due letti singoli nel sottotetto, di cui uno nella parte a spiovente con rischio di sbattere nella eventualità di sveglia improvvisa, e un divano letto molto scomodo sempre sotto la parte spiovente dove era impossibile incastrare addirittura le coperte e lenzuola.
