Cozy room. Delightful host. Great location.

Veronique is a very helpful, delightful host; she went above and beyond to add to our stay in Giverny. (Her English is excellent which also helps!) The location is excellent for ready access to Monet gardens, restaurants, shopping, etc. The room is cozy and has a well supplied kitchen if needed.

The layout is a bit awkward; the shower and bathroom within the room limits any kind of privacy. However, a 2nd bathroom is readily available if needed.

FANTASTIC❣️

This is just what you expect when arriving. The innkeeper Veronique explains the room very well. She is an amazing host and could not do enough to make my stay excellent. There is the added advantage of her lovely garden and art studio which helps bring the world of Monet’s home and garden to your door.

I had trouble with the lights, which switch to turn on and off but that was really my own fault.

Tiny, but cozy and well appointed room a close walk to the Monet Gardens

The property has a full kitchen, stove, microwave and oven as well as everything one would need to prepare food. It allowed us to snuggle in and prepare breakfast for ourselves. It was perfect for us. The host was amazing!

The property is very cozy and clean, everything is made to perfection. The host is the best host i’ve ever met, she treats you as a part of her family. We even had dinner and breakfast together with her grandchild, it was amazing. thank you!

Lovely Attic apartment - would happily stay again!

It was beautiful- so well thought out- had everything you needed. The most comfortable sofa bed I have ever slept on.

We were fine with these but this is a warning for others who may come here. The stairs are steep, more like a ladder - so if you have any mobility issues - this is not the place for you. The toilet is only behind a curtain- so if there is any ‘mystique’ wanted in your relationship- again this may not the place for you! But we were more than happy here!

Veronique was an amazing host, she lives in the same building so check in and out were super convenient. She gave great recommendations on Giverny. Location was great, perfect if you want to visit Monet’s house and gardens. The flat was a bit cosy but very well organised and well-appointed.

Immaculate, beautifully designed and super comfortable.

Our hostess was lovely and clearly sensible, had Covid precautions and security covered and had thought about our potential desire to have milk for tea and coffee, cold beer as it was so hot etc., map of Giverny, suggestions of where to go for breakfast. It was a lovely offer to let us use the garden to sit out on a hot evening and to have breakfast. It was beautifully designed and immaculate, a wonderful use of a small space. The reason for booking had been that it was so close to Monet's house and garden and we could leave the car somewhere safe nearby and walk (it is less than a 10 minutes stroll and easy to find).

This isn't a negative at all but a note for others thinking of staying would be that there is a steep flight of steps into the loft style accommodation. It wasn't a problem for us but if someone had mobility issues it could be a consideration.

can’t wait to visit again for longer..!

Giverny is beautiful and Veronique’s place is perfectly located to explore the local area. We enjoyed visiting Monet’s house and garden nearby and the local Baudy restaurant for dinner, only wish we had stayed longer than 1 night! The apartment was wonderful had everything we needed and more! very clean with a very comfortable sofa bed and extremely well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Veronique was also so kind and welcoming, even letting us store our bikes in a small outbuilding. I also left a scarf and she has kindly offered to send it back to me. Couldn’t recommend more!!

Un nid d'aigle pour jeunes couples ...

Le caractère cosy du logement, et malgré l'espace très réduit, les équipements complets. L'accueil est très sympathique et de bon conseil. On peut trouver des places de stationnement assez proches.

C'est un logement qui ne convient pas aux personnes qui ont des difficultés à se déplacer car il faut escalader un escalier raide et étroit pour accéder. Déplus, on dort sur un canapé-lit, certes confortable mais qui ne convient pas à tout le monde.

Onestamente salvo solo la posizione e la pulizia.

L'appartamento è veramente minuscolo. La scala ripidissima e e pericolosa se si hanno valigie grandi è un vero problema portarle sopra. La colazione è assente (e dato i costi delle colazioni nel paese e la scarsità dei bar sarebbe indicato almeno fornirne una anche basic). Dentro l'appartamento c'è un foglio con regole da non infrangere (manco fossimo in collegio) e capisco la maleducazione della gente per carità, ma neanche a scrivere di lasciare come si è trovato l'appartamento (visto quello che offre e le dimensioni). Il bagno (se così vogliamo chiamarlo) ha zero privacy, diviso dal resto dall'appartamento solo da una tendina. Diciamo che il costo è veramente esagerato per quel che offre.

We hebben in de vroege achtend en einde middag/avond genoten van de pracht en de rust.

Giverny is een prachtig dorp en het ademt Claude Monet en het impressionisme. De locatie is in het centrum, twee prima restaurantjes op zo’n 50 meter loopafstand. Overdag is het erg druk met dagtoeristen maar eind van de middag keert de rust terug en zie en voel gewoon waaruit Monet z’n inspiratie haalde. Prachtig. Om de studio te bereiken moet je een smalle trap op. Eenmaal boven kom je in een kleine ruimte en ongelooflijk hoe effectief maar ook smaakvol het is georganiseerd. Echt alles is aanwezig inclusief een compleet ingerichte keuken. Slaapbank blijkt een zeer comfortabel bed; we hebben prima geslapen. Het is ook erg schoon. De eigenaresse Veronique is een vriendelijke en warme gastvrouw. En voor het geval je het belangrijk vind: Veronique spreekt prima Engels

Sehr nette Gastgeberin, alles blitzsauber und liebevoll eingerichtet.

Der Zugang über die sehr steile Treppe ist herausfordernd und nur ohne Gepäck machbar. Die Sanitärausstattung ist kreativ reduziert. Waschbecken ist gleich Küchenabwäsche, WC abgetrennt durch Vorhang im Zimmer.
