Cute little place in a gorgeous town

Great location and nice amenities

There is nowhere to buy groceries so it’s essential to bring items with you. Perhaps hosts could consider leaving small containers of milk for coffee

The location was excellent.

The apartment was cozy but dark and didn't seem very clean. I discovered that the wifi was not secure because when I used it, I immediately got diverted to pornography sites.

The property was in a good position, with a little TLC it could be more cheerful.

The property was in a perfect position for visiting Giverny by foot and provided a parking space opposite. The property was clean.

The outside of the property could have been attractive but was not cared for and the number on the gate was rusted with only the 5 remaining. One of the pictures in the hallway had slipped out of the frame. The decor in the apartment was a bit depressing. The curtains appeared old and drab. The net curtains were navy blue. The dark brown lamp shade in the centre of the bedroom ceiling was marked and the base of one of the bedside lights was cracked as was the glass on the picture in the bathroom. The light provided when all the lights are on was still dim.

Right in the centre of Giverny on the rue Claude Monet with free parking on the road outside.

Maybe a shade too simple and AirBnB-ish. We never saw the owners but there was no real reason we should, I suppose, just not quite what I’d expected.

Did not receive access information - had to chase up. Equipment poor - one over-used scourer in kitchen and residue of washing up liquid. Bottle opener needed gloves to operate. One toilet roll and manky sponge in bathroom. No information about heating or operating oven. Only two mugs - not enough if invited guests back. Wonky picture in hall. No welcome pack. Minimal information about village and gardens.

Ideally situated inside the village, walking distance from every point of interest like the museum and the gardens.

Every appliance and kitchenware was OK and well equipped. The mattress could be better. Bathroom spotless and well furnished also. Nice towels.

The perfect French apartment in a super location. Right next to the church, 10 minutes walk to the musee and to Monet's Gardens, a comfy bed, nice shower, good parking and helpful host. We couldn't have asked for more.

Great location

Lovely self contained 1 bedroom flat with a comfortable bed, good size fridge, and all the cooking utensils. A very old building with thick stone walls, lovely and cool in a very hot summer! Outstanding location.

Although all the utensils are there you need to provide your own salt, pepper, oil etc so come prepared if you intend to cook!

Perfectly appointed apartment and location for exploring Monet’s home.

The apartment had every accoutrement to make our stay comfortable. Our host, Clément, could not have been more hospitable or responsive to our requests. A perfect location for exploring Monet’s home.

The door to the apartment is a bit tricky to lock and the maid was able to show us how to lock it.

The apartment was very cute! The heating was great and there it is right next to Monet's house! The host was very communicative and kind to us.

We accidentally booked during the off season, so we didn't get to see the museums. We will have to come back in the spring.

It is a lovely cosy apartment for two, in a great location to explore Giverny and the local area.

We received the details of the lock box via text from the host and it was easy to find the lock box and access the apartment using the code etc. The property was nice and looked great, just like the photos with a few nice touches, such as a map of the area, and flowers on the coffee table. The village is lovely and the apartment is near Monets Garden and Baudy the famous restaurant. The host was very responsive and friendly. I stayed in 3 air b and b properties on this holiday and it was by far the best one. I would definitely recommend.

It would be good to have an outside light by the door as its very dark at night and difficult to see the lock, however you can always use the torch on your mobile phone..

Perfect location to use as a base for visiting Giverny

Perfect location in Giverny and a very comfortable stay. The host left a bottle of artisan apple juice and packet of biscuits for us, which was a very thoughtful and welcomed gesture given that we arrived late in the afternoon without any food supplies.

There is nothing that we didn’t like about the place however, the one thing that we noticed is that the shower water pressure seemed low. Of course this might be because we are used to high water pressure coming from Australia.

Fantastic place, beautiful interior and very practical!

The place was super nice and beautiful. The host provided a great welcome and help during the stay. Will certainly be back! A great location, just at the beginning of the main avenue in Giverny, perfect spot for relaxing, having meals outside on a little terrace and enjoying the peaceful evenings in the countryside.

Ruim appartement in karakteristiek pand op de beste plek om Giverny en tuinen Monet te bezoeken.

Locatie was perfect om de tuinen en het huis van Monet te bezoeken. Aan de (historische) Rue Claude Monet en naast de kerk waar hij begraven is. De tuinen en parkeerplaatsen voor bezoekers liggen echter voldoende ver zodat je geen last hebt van de bussen vol toeristen hebt (andere einde van de straat).

Eigenlijk niets. Het is oud huis, daardoor is er niet veel daglicht binnen. Maar dat heeft ook voordelen als het warm is.

Un bel endroit charmant

Au rez-de-chaussée, une chambre au lit confortable, une salle de bain toute petite mais bien pensée et pratique, une pièce principale avec kitchenette qui donne sur une vigne vierge et sur la petite rue principale juste à l'entrée de la rue piétonne et à côté de l'église. Idéalement située, j'étais avec une amie, nous avons garé la voiture juste en face de cette jolie maison et nous l'avons reprise le lendemain. Un séjour d'une journée et demie qui nous a complètement ressourcées. Si je retourne à Giverny, je retournerai au. Clos de l'église, c'est certain.

Tout était parfait, même le sms du propriétaire pour bien expliquer tout ce qui était utile. Peut-être prévoir quelques dosettes pour la cafetière car je n'avais pas le bon modèle....

Een sfeervolle, fantastische beleving in Giverny!

De locatie was geweldig! Vlak naast het graf van Monet en een kilometertje lopen naar het huis en de tuinen van Monet. Het appartement heeft een klein, sfeervol voortuintje. Geweldig om daar te zitten met een koud roseetje, en alle bezoekers langs te zien lopen. De keukeninventaris is zeer compleet. En alles is super schoon. Prima douche ook. De bedden vonden wij wat zacht, maar dat is persoonlijk. Het contact met de host verliep soepel. We kregen snel antwoord op onze vraag en een zeer duidelijke uitleg over hoe we het appartement binnen konden komen. Er stond een lekker een fles ijskoud water voor ons in de koelkast. We hebben gegeten bij restaurant Baudy. Een aanrader. Best prijzig, maar alle restaurants zijn prijzig in Giverny. Het dorp heeft overigens geen winkel (supermarkt), maar 3 km verderop is er wel een en ook een bakker. Onze fietsen stonden veilig in het voortuintje. Kortom: niks dan lof!

Sfeervol kort verblijf in Giverny.

Het was een heel leuk appartement op de benedenverdieping van een oud Frans huis, goed onderhouden en ingericht met ruim voldoende voorzieningen voor een verblijf van enkele dagen. Uitstekende locatie aan de schilderachtige rue Claude Monet op loopafstand (ca. 15 minuten) van het huis en de tuinen van Monet. De auto kon recht tegenover het huis langs de weg gratis geparkeerd worden, al moet je wel het geluk hebben dat daar bij aankomst een plek beschikbaar is. Vlak voor het appartement is een zitje, waar je beschut zit door de weelderige begroeiing. In de directe omgeving zijn meer dan voldoende gelegenheden om wat te eten of te drinken. Gezellige terrassen.

Het huis was binnen wat donker, maar dat komt doordat zo'n oud Frans huis meestal kleine ramen heeft. Er is binnen voldoende verlichting. Op de site van Booking.com staat dat je alle gegevens en bijzonderheden over de toegang tot het appartement een week voor aankomst ontvangt via sms, maar wij kregen de gegevens via WhatsApp pas op de dag van aankomst, nadat we er zelf meerdere keren om hadden gevraagd. Deze gegevens zijn dan wél uitgebreid en volledig, maar het veroorzaakt wat onrust dat je ze pas zó laat ontvangt.
