As I was visiting my friends out there it’s a avereage comfort for short time as I was on lay there for to sleep.

Good location by city centre

I had issue with in the dorm room and stuff can’t solve the issue although I showed him what’s the problem was.He moved me in different room but I didn’t manage to get any sleep. The dorm people was rude and stuff done nothing about it.

Apparently, they have bed bugs.

Right in the heart of the center. Close to supermarkets.

With 3 or 4 more nights to go (I was there for 31 nights), a Brit switched to my room and told me he'd been bitten by bed bugs the night before in a different room. Another Brit, a guy who basically lives there, said there is one room he refuses to stay in due to bed bugs.

The place is fairly new. The kitchen is pretty big and has all the essentials.

When I arrived in my room, a woman told me she was leaving because she was sensitive to mold, and she'd confirmed with a staff member that they have mold issues. After 3 weeks there, I started coughing and continued to do so for the rest of my 33 night stay.

Very good first experience

Location - easy access to public transport, centre & Swansea Bay. View of the cathedral & park - once it's finished from the kitchen. WiFi - very good. Beds - light, plug, shelf, privacy curtains on some beds & locker. Locker requires a lock. Good amount of personal space. Facilities - small shared kitchen & big lounge. Elevator - Access to all floors. Security - key card & manned reception.

Laundry - Expensive £12 but this seems to be the general cost outside as well. Shower - mould needs removing; a mat to avoid floor from becoming wet. Showerheads need a secure bracket so that you can stand under & not have to hold it while showering. Also toilet brushes need replacing as they were filthy. Kitchen - some items need replacing, e.g. towels, baking tray.

My experience exceeded my expectation. It was my first time in Swansea, so didn't know what to expect. I am glad I chose this hostel ❤️

It was really good value for money. The beach, a big Tesco supermarket and the train station are less than 10 minutes walk away. A Caribbean restaurant is downstairs from the hostel. The hostel has cooking facilities in a sizable clean kitchen.

-I booked this place last minute because of the location near where my son was staying in Swansea and because it was near the graduation venue as well. -Excellent and helpful staff on duty on the two days we were there -As a hostel It was surprisingly quite clean, in terms of the bed linen which was my greatest fear, and it was not very noisy at least from the guests -Great that there is a storage place where we could store luggage after checking out

-The sink in the room we were staying was leaking and there was water all over the floor constantly and I’m sure this is something the Hostel should’ve looked into all in advance. The Hostel is in the party side of the town where many restaurants are so at night it was very noisy and quite disturbing but this is not the fault of the owners

Nice for 1 or max 2 nights stay.

Attentive staff and everything was nicely prepared and ready for my arrival. Check in was also earlier than the official time, which helped a lot.

1) I'd be nice to have some curtains hanging from the beds, 2) I wouldn't stay here if I had something more expensive in my bag... there's a lock you cant rent, but easy to bypass.

The hostel is in a really great location, right in the city center and close to the train station. The main purpose of my trip was to do day hikes, so this place had good connections by foot and bus to everywhere I needed to go. The dormitory was spacious, and there was plenty of storage for personal belongings. The kitchen was also good and well equipped.

The building is right in the city center, and there are several restaurants on the street level that play very loud music late into the night. Luckily, I had packed earplugs, so the three nights went by comfortably.

To get a email when I was on train from derby to Swansea .to say I've got to cancel with booking.com as the booking was made in a woman's dormatory.which I fort it was all males .cus I went a few years ago.

Relying on fellow guests to clean up after themselves was not ideal, I’d recommend carrying disinfectant or requesting for cleaning equipment before using the shower after another guest.

Loved it here :) I stayed in the girls' room and the cubby holes were spacious and super cozy. The guy at reception also gave me a tour for my room and the kitchen.

Large clean and comfortable dorm with 2 ensuite shower rooms. Beds are separate pods. Staff happy to provide extra sheet which you can use to curtain off your bunk. Room was well soundproofed, as little noise heard from busy st. Brilliant and helpful staff.

The ladders to the upper pods are difficult for people with any mobility issues.

Stayed in 12 bed mixed dorm. Pod style beds offer privacy and staff happy to provide additional sheet if you want to curtain off your bunk. Room is clean and comfortable with 2 shower rooms. Staff were able to accommodate my request for lower bunk and are very helpful

Two bathrooms (shower+toilet) inside the 10 bunk beds room. Elevator or stairs to reach the 2nd floor Great location (approx. 10 minutes from the train station) Storage under the bunk bed (padlock necessary)

In the pictures there is a curtain for each bunk bed, but there was none during my stay The bed sheets were quite thin Usually only 2 people can cook at the same time

I know all shared communal kitchens in hostels can be a bit like this, but the built-up cooking smells were a bit strong in the communal area. Not a huge problem, just saying.

It just does exactly what it says on the tin. Nothing special but it's a really cheap and cheerful, conveniently located place to stay. Has beds, kitchen, bathroom. It's not the ritz but you wouldn't expect it to be.

There could be a rule communicated to guests, as part of the check-in procedure when they arrive, that you CANNOT speak on the phone in a shared dormitory after a certain time. It should be common courtesy but most people don't have that sadly. An 8pm cut off for phone conversations and/or a rule where you can ONLY take calls in a public shared space - not the bedrooms (which would be even better)
