Good location

Good location to access to the old town with a easy parking in front of the property (reservation is needed), it is walkable to everything. The room is simple yet comfortable, clean and nice. The washroom is spacious and clean.

The room is quite small and quite difficult to open two suitcases, no refrigerator.

Good place to stay near but not in the center

Great location near center and quiet. Room size is OK.

Fridge in the room was noisy - was supposed to turn off overnight and did not. Parking space is very tight, even for a medium sized car (Skoda Karoq).

Loved everything

This hotel was a real pleasure! The staff were exceptional 🥰and the location and surroundings were perfect for exploring. Our room was very comfortable. We'd absolutely repeat our stay if we come back to Modena

If I had to pick one minor area for improvement, it would be the air in the hallways leading to the rooms – it felt a bit stale or recirculated, though I was relieved to find this wasn't an issue within the room itself.

Very underwhelming: I expected way better considering the reviews and how Booking describe the place

The area is central, the place is nice.

Plenty: 1) The place is considered professionally run, but the staff is only available through phone except in the morning to collect the tax; 2) It's said it has parking but there are few places and my long car would not have fit; I got an exemption to park on the road (quite heavy traffic); 3) the room was very noisy (noise from inside: fridge and random loud noises): I am used to very silent rooms so I'm very sensitive, but I woke up a couple of times during the night.

An excellent place from which to explore a lovely city.

Th self check in process was a little worrying but went extremely smoothly. Reception was staffed by a very helpful lady every morning and she helped us arrange taxis and train tickets. The room and bathroom were excellent and quiet and location, perfect, just on the edge of the old city.

Nice villa with tidy apartments

A nice villa has been changed to a hotel without staff. The automatic check-in is very convenient. Parking space is available, but we were lucky to have arrived in time to take the biggest one for our big car. The room and bathroom are nicely arranged and clean,airconditioning is a bit loud but efficient. Unfortunately, we didn't realize there was a coffee machine and kettle for tea in the basement until right before we were about to leave. You can walk in the inner city in 5-7 minutes.

Best place to stay if you are going to Osteria Francescana.

Exactly what we were looking for. A comfortable room, with parking space, clean and nicely decorated, easy access, convenient location, amazing attention from host. Clear access instructions. 5 min walk from Osteria Francescana. Highly recommended.

Great location, beautiful room and private parking.

The location is so handy - quiet but just a few minutes walk from the centre. The free private parking made thing so much less stressful for us. The room was beautifully designed and had everything we needed - was so pleased to find a communal coffee machine downstairs which was a great facility. Alessandra was so kind and hospitable and made us feel very welcome. We definitely hope to stay again in the future. Thank you so much!

Convenient location

The parking was very convenient. The quick automated check in. The cleanliness. The location - close to the city center.

The doors are not sound proof so you will hear everything people talk about in the corridors or even reception area. The early check out - sharp at 10am without an option to leave half an hour later.

Exceptional

There was no breakfast in this location but we knew it and thats is ok :-) you can eat in the center of Modena

we loved everything, I would only add a few porcelain tea cups next to the coffee machine instead of the paper ones, this is the only thing I would change. Very very clean beautiful place, very lovely bed linens, wonderful shower! We also gad a parking space which is very helpful. The center is so close, you need only to walk a few minutes, Modena is beautiful.

great place, we extended our stay

Great location, excellent safe parking, walking distance of sights and good restaurants. Very comfortable and stylish room and bathroom.

No staff to welcome you, no info on where to eat, best bars, shopping areas etc. So we had to do some research. Its a bit impersonal just getting a code, but it all worked so it was okay.

Rude staff who were very unhelpful and an overpriced stay.

The staff was very rude and they only manned the reception from 8:30 - 10:30 in the day. They also would not look after our luggage on our check out day, which meant we had to traipse around the city with all our baggage - at €140 a night that is not good enough service. They also didn’t offer any tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Also the check out was very early at 10:00 - it should be later than this.

Great location, 5 minute walk from the center of Modena, clean room, comfortable bed, helpful host.

The location is extremely close to the center of Modena on foot (less than 5 minutes) and there is a secure car park. The bed was extremely confortable, the room was new and clean and the shower worked perfectly. The check-in was extremely easy and we were able to do the entire check-in process on our phone.
