A great place to stay, welcoming and comfortable

The guest house is in a good location and is a fantastic historical building, with the guest area being on the first floor of the building. It has lots of character and the owners are both welcoming and kind. The breakfast was nice with home made croissants and a continental buffet. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped for a restful stay.

Wonderful stay in a unique, historic property.

This hotel is completely charming. Set is a 300-year-old home that has been lovingly renovated. I could not ask for more. The design is exquisite. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area, and their communication was excellent. The location is ideal, with a large plaza of shops and restaurants outside the door, but the room faced a quiet rear courtyard, so there were no noise issues. It is an easy 12-15-minute walk from the train station. I would absolutely stay here again,

We had a very pleasant stay in Metz

When we arrived there, we were a little sceptical because it was literally next to the Christmas market. But it was surprisingly quiet in our room and we slept well. The decor was very pretty and we enjoyed our breakfast.

Lovely property with fun decor. Hosts are delightful.

The hosts were accommodating and very hospitable. Our room was warm and inviting with many hospitable touches. Breakfast is lovely. Location is great- close to many interesting sites, restaurants and shopping. Parking is nearby and the most reasonable of all parking garages in our travels.

Owners are very very friendly and relaxed,superb breakfast, awesome rooms and location. The stuff was very gentle, great hospitality and friendly. A good place to stay when visiting Metz. The breakfast is more that enough with fresh ingredients, he spaces are big and very well designed. It is awesome!

Nothing The parking space/garage around the corner is great, but it is in a garage which is almost empty in summer and the weekend. Because it is mainly used by offices and shops, i think. The good part it is very close to the place, and you can reserve a spot. If you just got out of the car the square inside the parking is a bit difficult to find the good exit.

Brilliant and a great surprise!

Absolutely lovely accommodation right in the heart of Metz. Highly recommended!!! Never been to Metz before, great surprise as so many bars and restaurants, wonderful shops and easy to access with loads of parking!

Our stay here was excellent. Beautifully appointed room with a very nice ensuite. Very comfortable beds. Great location … walking distance to everything. Breakfast was fabulous and exceeded our expectations. Our hosts went above and beyond and were absolutely delightful. Will definitely recommend and stay here again. Merci!

Stunning hotel with gorgeous interiors and a lovely couple running it in a perfect location.

Picture an idyllic French town house and you are half way there. Every tiny detail is stunning and thoughtfully curated. The couple that own and run it are warm friendly and helpful. Centrally located. High ceilings, beautiful bathrooms, delicious breakfast, comfy beds.they even posted back a ring we left in the bathroom.

Very nice location, convenient parking nearby, good communication with host, very clean, nice room, very nice breakfast room.

We had (I think) the smallest room of the hotel. The bathroom was very small, but nevertheless everything was very beautifully arranged.

Wonderful stay booked at very short notice with very accommodating hosts.

A wonderful place to stay. Everything was perfect. The location is brilliant and the room was very spacious, beautifully decorated with every amenity we needed including a very comfortable bed and big fluffy bath towels. Michael and Anne are wonderful hosts. Would very highly recommend.

Charming and unique stay

Really friendly and hospitable family running the place. The rooms and area was very charming and authentic. It was located right in center, yet room was towards the courtyard and therefore quiet. Great breakfast as well with everything you would need to start the day well. Could greatly recommend for a unique experience while visiting Metz

The room and bathroom were beautiful (we were in Nuvolette). The breakfast was excellent. Parking was very close but because we arrived on a Sunday the exit closest to the hotel was not open. However it was very convenient.

Better instructions from the parking to the hotel on a Sunday would be helpful. The hotel was difficult to find from the street, so bolder signage would be good.

delightful stay

Rooms are absolutely gorgeous and emasculate. the property is beautifully and faithfully restored by the b&b owners, and they added some modern touches which are both interesting and fun. just loved the aesthetics, color combos, etc. the owners are very kind and hospitable. breakfast was fresh, delicious and fulfilling. very enjoyable. location is great! it’s off of this busy street but once you get inside the gate, it’s very quiet.

Excellent stay, I would recommend warmly.

Well appointed breakfast with excellent coffee, homemade jams. Room very spacious with the charm of an old French mansion. The room was renovated with character and the modern bathroom is with a walk-in shower had all the amenities needed. The owners are very welcoming and lovely hosts.

A cute place in a cute city.

Hôtel de Fouquet has true charm. We had a big, uniquely decorated room, with a comfortable bed and a brand new bath room. Breakfast was very good, with homemade croissants. The B&B is in the heart of Metz, at Place Saint-Louis which hosts one of the Christmas markets of Metz. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thanks, Anne-Violaine and Michael, for being great hosts and finalizing this beautiful spot.
