Pousada Aquarela do Mar

The location and the room were amazing, we had a room with a balcony and hammock which overlooked the bay. Beautiful during the sunsets. The room was clean with AC and the toilet has a bidet. The staff were friendly.

Not far from the main centre but able to sleep well. Staff all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and cakes were very good!

The staff was very friendly and always around. Location is excellent for Abraao in my opinion because it is on the nicest part of the beach in Abraao, a bit away from the very busy town center, but still has some relaxed restaurants. It is a 10 min walk to town center. The view of the ocean is very pretty but don't expect a 180 degree view. Breakfast was good, standard.

Room is very small, something you'd expect in New York City but maybe not here. We booked a room with ocean view and got the worst one, Room 5 (try to avoid this one!). The ocean cannot be seen from the room. You have to weave yourself through the tiny room, onto the balcony and walk to the end of it to see it over the corner. Bathroom door is a louver door, so you can hear and smell everything that happens inside the bathroom.

The staff: They are marvellous. Thumbs up for Helen and Sebastien. Two excellent people. They will make all efforts to make you comfortable. They're AMAZING! The place: Nice and cozy room. Small but cozy. The place is near to everything and you will enjoy it. Value for money: Is not the cheapest. Average value for money but you probably won't be better anywhere else. Final consideration: Greatly RECOMMENDED!

Breakfast could have some more variety.
