Location is fantastic. Couldn’t get closer to St Marks Sq but also quiet

Location was excellent

No reception, early check out of 1030 was really inconvenient... The room doors were not soundproof, we heard all the other guests coming and going, coughing, sneezing etc...

The property was so well kept, you can see that owners take a lot of pride in it.

Nothing, everything was perfect

Location was perfect and the amenities were new. The room was very clean and instructions were clear and easy. The shower is nice and the beds are comfortable. The wifi is great and the room itself is a good size for a single room with plenty of luggage storage.

The door of the room is unbelievably thin. You can hear people whispering in the hallway. Absolutely no privacy of sound whatsoever. Room 2 seems to be right beside the shared hallway bathroom and you can hear every sound a person makes while taking a shower. The bathroom windows only had a sheer curtain with neighboring windows looking directly in, so at night if the light is on in the bathroom anyone can see inside. Also the bedroom window overlooks a narrow alleyway with a neighbors window an arms length away looking directly into the room. There were only two options for blocking this - the sheer curtains so they can still see inside the room, or closing the outer wooden blinds which puts the entire room into darkness. Could easily be fixed with normal blackout curtains. Overall the location is quite noisy and the building is not well soundproofed so you can hear everything going on in other rooms above and outside the door.
