Seeing resorts in Asia, America and Europe - this is truly within TOP3 places, ever.

You think you visited good places? Or even very good places? Giacomino Agriturismo is for sure better than them. Our life usually short enough to visit places twice - but here we will return, no doubt! Amazing landscape over 2 lakes with a large and lovely garden makes you feel like you are in heaven. Drinking very tasty home-made wines (and beers, too!), eating original-local tastes of the farm, enjoying perfect selection and type of Italian coffees just let you relax and get reenergized fully.

Definitely coming back again (in a smaller car) :)

The House is very cozy, decorated in a country-side style. They have a lot of Animals and a big outdoor area to sit. The Food was exceptionally good, with almost everything coming from their own Production. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all questions that we had during our stay. Location is also amazing: no traffic sounds, no parties, all very quiet and peaceful. Wonderful view of the Lake and the Alps.

The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating with our need. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The food was 10/10, breakfast and evening meal was amazing! The view and the scenery when you get to the property was stunning!

For me it wasn't a problem but for my partner, she wasn’t a fan of the drive up the mountain to get to the property. But I feel it added the the experience.

One of my best experience, breathtaking views and awesome stuff, Very friendly, very clean, good service, we spent 3 days there with grandparents and our son and we really enjoyed it. Thanks for everything. The owner is a great guy!

Everything;) A tipical italian Agriturismo managed by a very kind family. Rooms are cleaned every day during breakfast. Every connector have transformers for eu standards which can be really useful. Perfect place for people who are looking for hiking or would get away from the city life. Some people were commenting about the Road uphill. It’s not for beginners, but nothing special. No worries if you’re driving for a while and not just In your village.

Top of the world!

This is a magical place! We stayed in a very cute, cozy cabin with a private patio and the most incredible views. We were able to enjoy a fire in the fireplace and enjoy the spacious well equipped cabin. We had a delicious meal in the evening in the main lodge. The hosts were so amenable, kind and attentive. We loved our stay here.

The road up to the lodge or chalet is very winding and goes up very high. Most people seem to enjoy the drive up. I must admit to being afraid of heights so it was stressful for me. It is certainly a cool part of the experience of staying in this wonderful place however.

Great view, OK bungalow/apartment. 30 minutes of narrow mountain road away from city, horrible wifi.

Very nice view, clean and well-equipped apartment, nice little playground, animals (donkeys and pigs).

The location (1km up the mountain) can only be reached via a narrow, bumpy, winding mountain road that's about 15km long. This takes about half an hour each time and makes each trip outside the farm pretty cumbersome. The wi-fi barely works and can only be used for messaging/email/simple web surfing, with LOTS of waiting. The wooden bungalow creaks each time you go up the stairs or when there is significant wind outside. The restaurant has no menu, everything needs to be asked for and you only get to review the checks when you check out. The short piece of road down to the farm itself has holes in it and it doesn't seem like things get fixed quickly around the location.

Perfect location with your dog

- fantastic quiet location and view at around 1.000mt of altitude, away from the scorching heat and the bustle of the lake - surrounded by lovely animals (donkey, pigs, sheep..), the dog Rocco above all - pet friendly and loads of opportunities to walk your dog around the property, in certain situations even off-leash - super friendly and kind staff, always eager for a chat and for giving us recommendations on hiking areas and other info

- Love driving and the road to reach this property can be loads of fun, sure, if no other cars are coming the opposite way, otherwise it can be quite a nightmare and an extra effort for your car brakes. - just a little tip for the property to check the info given online: the room was stated as 27 square meters but is actually much smaller and towels and bed linen were fortunately not at a surcharge ;-) - room a little bit too hot since there was no possibility to create a draft

Stunning view and super quiet place - guarantee to relax!

We've spent one week with the family and enojoyed every single moment. The location is extraordinary, the food fantastic and the hosts very friendly and yet professional. The kids would love to come back one day and maybe we will. The place holds a guarantee for relaxing and getting some quiet time.

One needs to take into account that the place is on the top of a mountain and in order to get there you need to survive a 20min journey which is only for experienced drivers. That's why we did not go down on some of the days. The place is not on the Lake Como, instead a smaller one. The Wlan only works in the main area / dining hall. And: there are no fridges in the rooms which I really missed considering the 38 degrees outside. The whirlpool costs an extra charge.

Amazing Place

We stayed with our two kids at this lovely place. The view is amazing, the people are super nice always helpful and the food is delicious. We had sunshine the whole week, woke up and enjoyed the sun shining into the room. The breakfast is a perfect start and the dinner is locally sourced and tastes amazing. Giacomino ist located up the hill, so you need a car and it takes some time to drive uphill, but we did excursions every day and the view ist just fantastic. Thanks Giacomino, we will come back!

Fantastic sourroundings

Fantastic view and nature. Very relaxing. Had the evening meal all 4 days. The BEST. Typical rural Italian meal. Nice red wine. Did a hike to Monte Berlinghera. Also an experience.

Very little to complain about. The breakfast was perhaps at bit boring to north european standards. Not a buffet due to covid. Be prepared for narrow road to farm. We only found it interesting, but others might think it is too exciting. 30 min drive to reach valley.

The staff were wonderful - kind and accommodating and very friendly with our dogs. The view was incredible and we enjoyed our stay very much.

It would have been good to understand better just how far up the mountain they are located. It was fine, but we would have planned a bit differently had we known it was such a long drive up the mountain.

Stunning views and property!

Two families totaling nine guests (4x adults, 5x children) were warmly welcomed by the staff which accommodated our varied requests and answered our questions about the Lake Como area. Our two rooms met every need. This agritourismo at ~3600 feet elevation has phenomenal mountain and lake vistas! The impressive stone exteriors of the buildings and patios along with the natural timber accents rekindled a personal desire to learn stone masonry skills in retirement. The animals (donkeys, pigs, sheep, rabbits, and a very friendly canine) provided a warmth and character not found on other properties. Breakfast was ample and served with generous smiles. The five course dinner consumed on our first evening was a culinary delight of local foods.

Firm mattresses took some adjusting, but by the third night we didn’t notice. The drive up the mountain is an experience I won’t soon forget, and will recount with smiles in the coming years.

Beautiful and comfy!

A wonderful week-end getaway: lovely family that runs the place, very friendly and accommodating. Rooms and the property have spectacular views, territory is large and well taken care of. A swing set over the lakes with mountains as a background are a perfect opportunity for your top Instagram post :) Rooms are cozy and comfortable. Dinners are absolutely delicious - if you want to taste a true Italian cuisine at it's best - this is the place for you! Very family friendly and very pet friendly - the latter is hard to find in many hotels that accept pets but make it hard to feel comfortable with them on the property. Our dog was as happy as we were! The location is great for nature and hiking enthusiast - with many opportunities ranging from few hour trips to day trips (make sure to visit hotel's Instagram page - it offers a lot of very useful information) We are definitely visiting again!

There were no tea/coffee facilities in a room even thought they were listed in the description. Shampoos etc provided are really tiny - one might consider taking their own.

Incredible view, really nice and calm place.

We really appreciated a mountain location, the view from the farm was incredible. So many beautiful trips straight from the farm up to the mountains. The owners were really kind and helpful, they speak German and Italian but also some basics in English. What was absolutely the best was the owner´s dog named Rocco, we totally loved that dog because he accompanied us on every mountain trip, he probably knows the mountains much better then google maps :) We stayed there 5 days and if we weren´t making the trips up to the mountains, we just took a car and visited a few interesting places around the Como Lake. To get down from the farm it lasted around 20 minutes by car to Sorico, the road is really narrow in some spots and I would recommend you to go by small but strong car (if that is possible:) ) Furniture and equipment was more likely average, you can use a wellness (steam bath and whirlpool bath), also little bit older. Breakfast was good but I little bit missed a fresh bread. Once we had a dinner on the farm and it was delicious but maybe a little expensive. I highly recommend this accomodation, we really enjoyed staying there, I will miss the calm and quiet nights and of course the hiking with Rocco the dog :)

Exciting view! Very very quiet place. A lot of pedestrian pathes around the place. Amazing road from Komo lake upside to the house. Espessial through clouds or fog. But be careful - local citizenes are driving very fast. Somewhere road has many turns and there is just for one car.

Very expensive cusine. Not so delisios. Own products from nearest supermarket will be better.

krásné výhledy jako odměna za špatnou přístupovou cestu

Lokalita je úžasná - nádherné výhledy . Je to cca 10 km od Gera Lario v horách. Snídaně byla dostačující, i když málo rozmanitá, každý den stejná.

Je tam moc špatná cesta k ubytování, je velmi úzká se samými serpentýnami, kde se skoro nemohou vyhnout 2 protijedoucí auta. A to se tam snadno potká větší dodávka nebo traktor. Myslím, že toto spoustu návštěvníků může odradit.

Traumhafter Erholungsurlaub am Berg und dem wunderschönen Comer See.

Die Zusatzleistungen wie Kaffee und selbstgebackener Kuchen am Nachmittag und die Abendessen mit lokalen Spezialitäten waren super. Außerdem konnte man die hervorragenden Eigenprodukte vor Ort kaufen. Kastanienbier und Wein waren klasse. Das Personal und die sehr netten Gastgeber sind wirklich toll. Die traumhafte und ruhige Lage war für uns phantastisch. Wunderschöner Blick auf den Lago di Mezzola und den Comer See. Herrliche Wanderungen direkt von der Unterkunft auf umliegende Berge. Das Frühstück mit den selbstgebackenen Kuchen und Brot und den guten heimischen Produkten und frischem Obst war toll. Wir werden unbedingt wiederkommen!
