Excellent family driven location for the beach with a bit for everyone in one place

The resort is broad with endless options for leisure, activities, food, grocery, dining, games, and both pool and beach!

This is specific to the Hotel but the rooms were beyond smaller than imaginable. While the amenity driven resort partially outweighs this, the AC was very difficult and barely existent, while the bed’s uncomfortable. Overall a beach and resort stay should not lead to much time in the room, but these small hotel rooms with limited comfort should be noted which can make sleeping hard, or if with kids, a slight bump in comfort and schedule.

Relaxing stay on a wonderful beach, and the resort was 'authentic', not too touristy.

Wonderful beach and views, and the La Duna restaurant was excellent. Every single staff person we interacted with was a delight.

We would have liked a comfortable reading chair in our room, and the shower was too small.

disappointing

location is good and the private beach with allocated sun loungers and umbrella. very friendly lady in the coffee bar who served us breakfast every morning.

loud music from Tony’s bar was awful and spoiled afternoons on the beach. apartment is basic and we had a few issues like a leak from kitchen sink. ( it was mended but all the water underneath the sink was left for us to clear up. lights by the bedroom were hanging off the wall and had to be fixed. I don’t think the cleaners report any issues to maintenance. The Tractoria restaurant menu is very limited for a 2 week stay. I had an inedible fish pasta dish which I still had to pay €18 for. This was our 4th stay at Golfo Del Sole and unfortunately it feels like it’s gone down hill.

Fantastic little resort with all the amenities you could ever need. Fantastic beach!

The beach is fantastic! Clean, calm sea, pre-reserved loungers for every unit, water sports…couldn’t fault it as a family-friendly beach. Pool was also great, kids spent hours on the slide. Apartments were clean, spacious and reasonably equipped. Facilities on site were great, couldn’t fault them, and no stupid rules like you get on other similar resorts. Finally, the 2 on-site restaurants were fabulous, particularly beachfront La Duna. Close enough to Follonica to cycle. Also an hourly tourist train from the middle of the resort to town was great to avoid using the car. Surrounding countryside was great for mountain biking and road biking.

Not much… Wasps are a bit of a problem on site. We got swarmed a couple of times when eating before sun-down. It wasn’t a problem for us as we are German speaking too, however this is clearly a Swiss resort (90+% the week we were there). This isn’t really clear when booking through Booking, therefore we were a little surprised at first. Guests from other countries may feel a little excluded. Great if you’re Swiss though. Shame the on-site bike shop was closed all summer (until 26. Aug according to the notice on the door)…would have loved to take one of their road bikes for a few days.

Nice stay in Follonica

Nice resort. Great location and friendly staff. Apartment didn't look like the one booked in the pictures however it was plain, clean and functional. The access to the beach was exceptional and so was the experience overall.

- nice beach - water is shallow for a while so it's great for kids too - many playgrounds and some are also with shadow so that the kids can comfortably play in the middle of the day

The take-away options in the restaurant are limited to pizza, lasagna and fries.

Very good

Very family friendly with multiple playgrounds, mino-glof, nice pools and clean beach area. We added the breakfast upon arrival and were happy with that decision. We were also pleasantly surprised by the safety of the roads with no cars allowed. We plan on going back and next time we bring scooters to move around as the groundings are quite large :-)

All fine and within expectations. Only negative would maybe be that the wall/ceilling were not soundproof and you can hear everything the neighbors are up to...

Sehr schöner Strand, Sonnenschirm und Liegestühle mit genügend Abstand, gute Anlage für Familien mit Kindern und Spielmöglichkeiten, auch angenehm für Spaziergänge entlang der Bucht

Animation am Abend war zu laut, Preise im Restaurant la Duna eindeutig zu hoch, man geht besser in den Ort um ein besseres Preis Leistungsverhältnis zu bekommen

Zona ottima, ben collegata. La piscina é molto bella, tutta la struttura ha un bel potenziale però é molto lasciata andare..

La casa era sporca, il bagno con insetti, in cucina formiche ovunque dal secondo giorno...ho dovuto togliere tutto dalla cucina perché era pieno di formiche, il bagno con bidet attaccato al lavandino molto scomodo.. La doccia molto trascurata e senza un qualcosa per appoggiare shampoo e bagnoschiuma.. Cucina scarna di roba.. Senza caffetteria e tanto altro.. Sotto il letto polvere che probabilmente da un mese non pulivano e noi con due bambine di cui una di 4 mesi.. Ripeto struttura con del potenziale ma non all'altezza delle aspettative.. Animazione quasi inesistente.. Alle 10 massimo tutti a letto.. Eppure 200 euro al giorno li abbiamo pagati.. Tra l'altro la maggior parte dell'animazione era improntata sui tedeschi e svizzeri..

Il materiale a disposizione per le famiglie è fantastico, avete pensato a tutto per rendere il soggiorno dei vostri ospiti il più piacevole possibile. Siete un esempio di come un resort possa essere gestito con cura e attenzione ai dettagli, pensando sempre alla soddisfazione dei clienti. Continuate così, siete sulla strada giusta e sicuramente continuerete a ricevere apprezzamenti e recensioni positive dai vostri ospiti. Complimenti vivissimi per il vostro lavoro!

Vorrei condividere alcune osservazioni costruttive per aiutare a migliorare la vostra struttura. Una cosa che ho notato è l'assenza di zanzariera all'entrata, che potrebbe essere utile per evitare l'ingresso di insetti durante le serate estive. Inoltre, ho notato che mancano le tendine alle finestre del bagno, cucina ed entrata. Questo potrebbe compromettere la privacy degli ospiti e dare l'impressione di essere osservati dall'esterno. Sarebbe utile considerare l'installazione di tendine per garantire una maggiore riservatezza e comfort per gli ospiti. Spero che queste osservazioni possano essere utili per migliorare la vostra struttura e rendere il soggiorno degli ospiti ancora più piacevole.

Tutto molto ben curato ed organizzato, perfetto per rilassarsi, animazione presente ma mai invadente, ottimi ristoranti e bar su spiaggia

Forse gli orari un po' ridotti del bar in piazzetta potrebbero essere rivisti per migliorare ulteriormente il servizio anche nelle ore pomeridiane, rendendolo un punto di aggregazione

Rilassante ma non alle aspettative.

La struttura si trova in una splendida location a pochi passi dalla spiaggia. In un contesto familiare, sicuro e accogliente.

La pulizia delle camere dovrebbe essere fatta in maniera più approfondita, sinceramente abbiamo trovato molta sporcizia e polvere al nostro arrivo, non il massimo con un bambino piccolo. Inoltre gli appartamenti sono un po’ datati e le pareti/pavimenti sono davvero sottili, si sente letteralmente tutto riguardo i vicini.

Le cadre est magnifique avec la proximité de la ville de Follonica.

L’animation est seulement en italien et ça se répète tous les soirs. Le personnel de la réception n’explique pas bien les services et le petit déjeuner est plutôt moyen.

Eine sehr schöne Woche in einer wundervollen Umgebung mit viel Glück mit dem Wetter.

Die Tennis-Stunden mit Steno waren jeden Tag der Highlight. Ein Grund für meine Tochter und mich wieder zu kommen.
