Very kind of you to have driven me towards the festival, brought chilled water to the room, left tea and biscuits for guests in rooms, and washed guests’ clothes. It was a joy to stay there!

I had a very nice stay here for 3 nights. It is in a very nice quiet neighborhood not too far from town. Caroline was very nice and accommodating to requests, and she will even make you a delicious breakfast for a bit extra. You are staying at her house though so just keep in mind to be respectful. So much better than staying at a hostel!

The location is amazing, beautiful views on the mountains, quiet street, 30 minutes walk to the city center. The host was generous with sharing tips on what to do, see, where to eat etc

The room itself was acceptable, but the overall experience was extremely uncomfortable. There were no locks on the doors, which immediately made the stay feel less private and secure. The host was also very intrusive from the beginning, constantly double texting, sending multiple voice messages in a row, and communicating in a passive aggressive way. Toward the end of my stay, she even started screaming at me. The atmosphere felt less like a guest accommodation and more like being a student living under strict supervision from a landlord, except worse because there was no kitchen access and guests were not allowed to cook. There was a plate and cutlery in the room, but I had to wash them in the bathroom sink since the kitchen was off limits. There also appeared to be no cleaner. The chair in the room had dry food leftovers on it. Guests are expected to clean everything themselves to an extremely high standard. At one point, the host complained that she had to clean the shower after I used it for the next guest, which felt unreasonable considering this is paid accommodation, not a co living arrangement. The listing also mentions breakfast being provided, but in reality it only seemed available when the host felt like offering it, and only before 8:30 AM. After I had to cancel breakfast one morning due to insomnia, I politely asked the next day and was refused in a passive aggressive manner.(see screenshots attached) Another uncomfortable incident happened when I took a longer shower. The host came knocking and yelling at me to get out immediately. If anyone wants to get a sense of the host’s communication style, I would strongly recommend reading her replies to reviews that rate the property below 10/10. Overall, this place may work if you only need somewhere to sleep and spend very little time in the house. However, if you value privacy, calmness, and a peaceful environment to relax in, I would not recommend staying here.
