Love this place, amazing stay

My group and I really enjoyed the overall atmosphere of this place, it was in a great location and it had beautiful decor. The bedrooms were very clean and comfortable, and the house was easily heated. It was an amazing weekend and we found the house to be very comfortable for our group. The Internet was great, and with the two ti's in the house it was easy to stay entertained. The house had an excellent bathroom which was very clean.

When we arrived the downstairs bathrooms toilet was leaking, however we dried it up and didn't have any other problems.

Nice house just needs basics sorted.

Its location and private parking although the entrance was very narrow.

1 flat pillow per person. Towels poor quality. Only 3 knives for 5 people. Lower toilet was out of order. Heating only in the lower part of the house.

Great location

This house was perfect for what we needed. There was supposed to be another couple with us but their plans changed. I loved the stove in the kitchen living area, also a separate living room ( we didn't use) it was clean on arrival. There is a shop with a deli right beside and we weren't too far from the main street of ballybofy you could walk it depending on the weather. Parking spaces around the back which was great as we travelled in two different cars.. Takeaways also deliver. I will recommend it to others and if needed I will definitely be booking again.

The house was freezing when we landed , and took a good hour to heat up, I had to go to the shop and get stuff for the fire. As I wouldn't have been able to stay in the house while the oil kicked in. (I do love a fire so it was nice to sit and chill with a class of wine)

The house was beautiful! Kinda boutique 💟 modern, chique. Warm, luxury. Every thing available... Restaurant across the road! Hotel next door... Takeaway 4mins... Although we went in winter, the comfort filled in.... Donegal beautiful! Of course people more beautiful.. 💜 Amy's Place and Jack's Place side by side, little private patios and quaint conservatory. 🌱🪻🌷🪻 Fabulous for any couple, group! Will definitely visit again and pass on the good word. Thank you Karen, kind host, till we catch up again... 💟Lorraine & Anber 🤲

It is on main Street, bit of traffic noise, but inside of house takes your mind off it, but extra layer of glazing would do trick on bedroom window 😉

Tired ole place

Good location to explore. Parking for two cars. Whole house.

Host ignored request to fix leaky toilet and provide extra cutlery. Most uncomfortable beds and pillows ever experienced in all 3 rooms, left my 77 year old mother with back pain. Not enough towels or utensils for 5 people. There is no rear garden (as described) just a tiny patio. The front door and rear extension leaked in the heavy rain. Basically all the issues mentioned in previous reviews over the last two years. Seems the owner has just ignored the issues, spending as little as possible on the place.

Good time.

We stay here often and it grate. It is only a 10 minute walk to the public pool and there are lots of bars and restaurants around.

The front of the house need better windows as you can hear the cars and people in the street all the time. But you can get a good night sleep in the back room. That is very quiet.

Shower doesn’t stay in position Toilet seat broken Handrail hanging on for dear life Glass hob is cracked Very very limited cutlery (one knife available and a handful of forks) Needs bath matt Needs front and back door matts as the tiles are INCREDIBLY slippery Mattress in master bedroom needs replacing… it’s essentially like sleeping on spring Needs a full length mirror TV reception incredibly poor so bring entertainment if you plan on staying in

A nice cottage and good place to rest on the Wild Atlantic War.

Cottage was I need of a few maintenance repairs which were reported in order for the manager to see to which they confirmed would be done.

Amazing place that allowed us to travel around

We loved how there was everything you needed around the property. It was also great place to take the dogs with a good garden. Check in was so easy!! Loved it!!

Excellent

House was so clean and beautiful. It has everything you need for a stay with a family or friends. Pet friendly is big bonus for this house. Easy to find and has ab parking behind a house and you don't need to leave your car on the street. Easy to travel around Donegal and has shops around. Highly recommended and looking forward to be back.

Overall it felt homely and was good value.

The house is in nice condition and was very clean. It’s right in the town centre and easy to find with shops and restaurants very close by. The host was very responsive to any queries we had.

The shower water pressure is really terrible and the privacy window isn’t that private. We arrived home and could easily see our neighbour having a shower. The dishwasher was not working and we had no hot water in the kitchen. When we arrived all the tile floors were very slippery… what was used to clean them?

Disappointing!!

Location was very good for what we were hoping to do in Donegal. First impression was good-- very nicely decorated and furnished. Perhaps a bit more cutlery( only three knives) and some serving dishes. BUT........

There were problems with the hot water and the shower. The shower and the hot tap were replaced but the original shower was very dangerous with exposed wires and only cold or scalding hot water which we only discovered on the first morning. Fortunately I checked the water before taking a shower. It could have been very dangerous. The host should have checked the installation before we checked in. There was no information pack regarding the appliances etc.and no welcome pack-- there is normally fresh milk at the very least. There is an induction hob which (fortunately) I am familiar with, but there were no instructions for someone who might not have seen one before-- plus it had a big crack to the top right hand corner???? We were offered a refund and the possibility of another property but it would not have been available until the second day of our three day visit. We accepted the hosts offer to replace the shower and the tap as we had plans for our stay and our opportunity to follow through with them would have been compromised by the upheaval of finding alternative accommodation or moving next door a day later.

It was a nice place to stay with everything we wanted, good facilities, close to centre of town and adequate space. A generally high standard throughout.

Poor location information and very difficult to find especially with no name or identification on the front of the building. Problems with no hot water to kitchen sink and bathroom hand basin and hot water control in the shower. Items reported to owner who advised that he would attend to rectifying these matters.

An exceptional cozy home from home. The facilities were brilliant. A short walk to a choice of pubs and shops. although it's on a busy road there's not a sound of traffic inside. Amazing and furnished to perfection! Value for money. Don't hesitate to book.

Lovely & comfy newly renovated flat

Beautiful newly renovated flat. Loved the comfy bed and beautiful sitting room, plus parking out back and garden access for our dog was great! It’s on the main road so shops and eateries are within walking distance too.

Would be good to have check in instructions and address sent in advance (we were sitting ducks when we arrived, waiting on the instructions). Otherwise, everything else was perfect.
