Great property with good facilities

Very easy to collect keys. The lock box works very well and the host provided clear directions and instructions. The property is in a great location. Many restaurants nearby if you don't want to cook. Plenty of good kitchen facilities at the property if you want to eat in the house. Very clean house. Heating works well. Very good shower too.

Both the front and back door locks are fiddly to open. The road the property is on is very busy and therefore noisy. But nevertheless, I would still recommend the property and would stay here again.

Great location for seeing sights near the letterkenny area, warm house, safe parking

Noise from street traffic but we had known about that from reading previous reviews and the noise was not so much at night and also not so bad if you slept in the bedroom at the back of the house

Overpriced

The shower is terrible. Water pressure is awful and there's a gap of about 1.5 inches where the shower screens meet in the middle. Nicely decorated but unkempt in places. Expensive for what it is. Fan in bathroom doesn't work, batteries dead in clocks and tv remotes. Barely any kitchen utensils, no hand towels, no kitchen roll, only 1 bath towel each, Barely any saucepans No tin foil or cooking oil No coffee maker supplied despite listed No complimentary logs for wood burners or even supplied for additional purchase Some windows have no blinds. Morning sun an issue at dining table Road noise at front of house no good for light sleepers The tiniest of bins in kitchen. It's the size of a bathroom bin. Bins weren't emptied. Christmas decorations still visible end of March

Beds were comfy, and it was located within walking distance of several eating and drinking establishments.

Finding it was a challenge, parking was plentiful but very challenging to access unless in a very tiny car.

The locks on the doors were very fiddly and not easy to open. Traffic noise was quite loud but didn't disrupt our sleep.

Very neat, great location, shops and restaurants nearby, nearby beautiful places to visit and the whole process of checking in and out was smooth. Cosy lil place perfect for couples or friends visiting Donegal.

Front room is right on the main road so can be a bit noisy if you leave the window open. Only an issue in super warm summer months

Passable

The house was spotless and had everything for us to cook with ie pots and pans ect. The hosts are nice people who responded quickly. The village is very nice and you can walk anywhere from the house and there's parking.

Oh the noise from the high street wasn't great for a light sleeper like me I just slept on the sofa in the back living room on the 2nd night. So if your a light sleeper I'd sleep in the back room. Oh a gate would be handy for kids or pets getting out at the back.

Jack's place was a great place to stay. Stranorlar is a good base from which to explore Donegal

The owner was very friendly and helpful, and was understanding when we arrived later than we expected to. The house is very well equipped and clean, and the private off-road parking is good. The town centre is within easy walking distance, and there are multiple supermarkets a short drive away. I would really recommend this property.
