We had really great time exploring the Marseille.

The location was really great and the swimming pool area was lovely after a long day of exploring. There’s also a small shop and bakery located opposite the apartment which was also great. The staff don’t really speak English but they are trying their best and they are really friendly, you can also storage your bags for free.

Everything was great!

It was safe and very comfortable due to large space of the apartment. Downstairs, opposite the street there is mini market and bakery with wonderful cakes and pizza.

Kind welcome and kind people.

the personnel were very kind. The senior citizens who live in the building were welcoming and kind. It was located next to the tram T2 T3 stop so it was easy to get groceries at Naturalia and Bio Coop.

The airconditionning was broken when I arrived in 40 degree weather. It took 2 days to restore it to working. There was an ant problem. Every night before going to bed I would take all my trash to the first floor to avoid the ants and I would still find a large amount of them eating my sponge the next morning. there was not a vegetable peeler to peel carrots so I bought one. I was sad to not be able to access the sea since the grand port was heavily gated and protected. To access the sea one must go to MUCEM.

Good Value for Money

- well equiped apartment, - great location next to National M2 metro station and a little nice bakery opposite the hotel; - excellent connection to Stade Orange Vélodrome, will be a great place for people coming to the concerts; - underground garage (relatively good price 9€/night): - air-conditioning; - possibility of later check-in with no additional charge.

- not all personel speaks English, but generally in France English is not that common; - it was clean, but it wasn't perfect.

Bad initial experience with cleanliness. All problems were eliminated quickly and with respect to us

I did not notice from the description that this hotel is actually within the residence for seniors, which is their main buisiness. It was a bit of surprise and took me some time to cope with. We liked a lot the location, the view from the apartment. Everything was convenient and a lot of space. Huge advantage was underground parking in the same building, included in the price. It was positive experience overall. We would like to thank the employees on the reception and the woman, responsible for cleaning, for the work they are doing. As well, as the manager of the residence for her professional approach to dealing with the complains.

We did have rather major issue with cleanliness in the room. But I hope it was rather exception, then the system in this residence. Everywhere there might be bad performers, who throw the shadow on everything good done by their collegues.

Retirement home packaged as an aparthotel

The rooms themselves are large and well equipped

Please know that this is not a hotel or an apartment, but a senior services rec centre for retirees! Also, most people don't speak English and so speaking to the staff is near impossible. If you have low standards and are ok living in an old age home, this may be suitable. Otherwise, go elsewhere!

Location is far from all attractions without reliable means of public transport. Room was dirty with infrequent cleaning. Cleaning staff entered the room early in the morning when I was sleeping.

A fantastic place to stay in Marseille, especially for drivers. Don't hesitate to book it.

The apartment was spacious, air-conditioned and well-equipped, with a great view over Marseille. Wi-fi was linked to the apartment, not the hotel, so it didn't work when you left the apartment. But it was able to supply two laptops and two mobile phones, so no complaints on that score. Free parking was a big bonus. It is also located right next to the terminus of a tram line that goes to the city centre, which makes it hyper easy to access Marseille (don't bother using the local underground station, take the tram). You should be aware that this is not so much a hotel as an old people's home (sheltered accommodation) with some apartments available to tourists and other visitors to Marseille. Personally, I don't mind seeing and talking to older people. In fact it lends a certain charm to the place, especially if you speak French and can communicate with the permanent residents, who are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very secure and quiet, as you can imagine. It is located in a very safe area with a great bakery/patisserie just opposite, and supermarkets a short walk away. The staff are very helpful and responded to our every request. Cannot recommend this place highly enough, especially if you have a car and would like to do some cooking during your stay.

We had a problem one day with the air conditioning unit in the bedroom, which began making a huge noise. The staff came quickly and sorted it out. We stayed for five nights and during this time the apartment was not cleaned or otherwise serviced. This was not a problem for us, but you should be aware of this policy.

Good apartment for good money but cleaning should be improved for sure

I had everything I needed inside the apartment. Coffee maker, toaster, a lot of tee etc. Everything in the kitchen was new. Also the parking was good and free.

The apartment was cleaned only to be good „for photos“. When I took the toaster, I saw a lot of bread crumbs. In the bathroom I saw some sort of men hair after shaving. The balcony cleaning was just never performed. It looked awful. The parking. Yes the parking was good, but you should check it to able to enter the parking. And the parking is from different street so you need to park somewhere your car, check-in and the go again to re-park your car. The smell on the floors is really bad. As I am solo traveler, I received small bed. If I am alone I still want to have double bad. It was very small space.

Pleasant

Apartment was spacious and clean. Only one member of staff spoke some English, Patrice at reception was helpful with the parking of our car, tried to help with the internet connection and arranged for us to stay in our apartment until 16.00 as we had a late departure.

Girls at reception were disinterested at best and did not speak English. As there was only one member of staff who spoke any English, we do not think that it should state on the Booking.com accommodation information that English is one of the languages spoken. Although the apartment was nice, the kitchen equipment was minimal, only one small saucepan and one frying pan and no kitchen knives i.e. bread knife or sharp knives for slicing cheese, vegetables etc. Although the wifi worked on our mobile phones their network provider did not accept any streaming devices or apps i.e Netflix etc. Therefore we were unable to use our tablet that we had used in previous places during this holiday in France. We do not think that this establishment is a place to enjoy your holiday as it is basically a retirement home. There was no information provided in other languages, only French. It is a nice place for the French retirees but not for holidaymakers.

The room was clean and big. The staffs were friendly.

The staffs didn’t speak English, which made the communication extremely difficult. Also, the staff told me the tea/coffee bags were not complementary. That wouldn’t cost much! Moreover, at the midnight before I left, the wifi was cut off. Come on! You could have waited for a half more day.

Great place to stay at.

Very friendly staff, access to a lovely balcony, great sized rooms and very clean. Modern appliances and finishes. Neighbourhood has great transport links to the rest of the city.

More options for pillows (softer/smaller pillows) would have been nice but not a must have. Neighbourhood was a little bit dodgy but still felt safe.

It is in a great location very near the tram to the centre of the city. Room was very big and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended. Not it is an apart hotel.

Passable

The apartment was clean, functional and spacious. Most of staff didn't speak English at all (just French), so it was quite challenge for us to get things settle down. The location is not close to the main places of tourist interest, and honestly it doesn't look save during the night. But there is a public transportation just on the corner, which helped us with the get where we wanted.

Location is not of the best. No concierge at night. Almost no English speakers, which can represent problem for those who are not familiar with French language.
