Above and beyond!

This place exceeded my expectations!!! Very clean, well maintained and had everything you could need. The housekeeping staff had neatly and intricately folded the towel like you’d find at a high end hotel. Seriously, the room was something I’d expect from a 4 star+ hotel. The bed was SO comfy, I slept like a log! The breakfast was good, pretty basic offerings but fresh and plentiful. Staff was helpful, cheerful and efficient. Hotel is convenient to the airport, Churchill downs and highways. Parking was easy and free. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat - the quality for the price is unbeatable!

The whole hotel was very clean from, the halls, to the rooms, to the breakfast area. Everything was in good condition and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The bathroom door was a barn style door which did not seal well, leaving not much privacy. The bathroom door was very difficult to open and close.

Comfortable place to sleep but I would not use the kitchenette because of the bugs.

Staff was great. Bed was comfortable.

Roaches in the room. The second night I saw a roach run out from under the toaster. I saw roaches on two more occasions over the course of our stay and we were not in the room other than to sleep.

Very Nice Hotel But Beware Of Airport Noise

Very nice hotel, spacious room and bathroom, comfortable bed, very clean, good breakfast, close to the airport, lots of on-site parking, close to food places, close to downtown.

Everything is great with this hotel except for the airport noise. The hotel sits under the flight path of aircraft landing at the Louisville Airport. The first night I was there the noise from the aircraft was only occasional and brief. The second night was awful due to a storm in the area. Flights must have been delayed landing because they started at 11:00 PM and landed every 5 minutes until 1:30 AM. This is not a great hotel if you are a light sleeper like me.

Hotel had a good breakfast, clean room when arrived, easy and quick check in. Plenty of parking options.

Could hear others walking in hall very easy. Also could hear walking above in other rooms outside of our room - haven't experienced at other Staybridge we have visited.

Room had our extra pillows that we asked for and fully stocked with towels.

The bed was hard as a rock!! HORRIBLE BED!! The room wasn’t very clean. Stains on the couch and on the chairs in the room. The breakfast wasn’t that good and the juice machine and soda machine were out. No one refilled them.

The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was okay. The staff was friendly enough.

Internet and cable issues on and off throughout our entire stay. Especially as the airplanes came by. Had to change rooms 3 times. Cards stopped working for our last room the very next day. Breakfast was not very stocked when we got to it. The location was VERY loud being right next to the airport.

You could hear the airplanes landing (close to airport.). But it was not as bad as previous reviews led me to believe. It did not bother us but I was aware of it. The front desk has ear plugs which are a good option if you need it. Maybe offering breakfast at 6:30 am on weekends would be nice. (We had to leave before breakfast was open.)

The suite was up to date and clean. We had everything we needed. The breakfast was great!

The planes flying directly overhead every five minutes, however, the desk staff person gave us an inside room on the 2nd floor, so we heard very little noise from the airplanes. Why UPS has to have such a low direct path over the hotel is unclear to me.
