Great location on a working farm. Very tranquil and relaxing. The simple format of the accommodation complimented the laid back feel. Great for nearby walks from Dufton. The food and atmosphere in the Stag Inn would be recommended too. Easy to follow walk from Dufton to High Cup Nick. Well worth the effort!
It would have been helpful to have a slightly larger fridge.

I had the most comfortable stay here and everything about it was perfect. It's quiet, clean, comfortable and has everything you need for a lovely stay. It was a one night stop for me on my way to and from Scotland and it was great place to break up the journey. The location is beautiful and Carole was super responsive. I loved the horses and sheep in the field across from the pod!

It was a delightful stay for one night, luckily dry weather too....We washed the dishes outside! As ex-campers we knew what to expect so that helped, and we knew what to bring to make our stay work for us. Location was good between Dales and Lakes.
Outside bathroom: loo and shower was fine. We were just not mad on needing to use the loo during the night. But that was due to our age more than anything else...78!! Probably not a problem for younger folk!
