The location is amazing - picture perfect in terms of the view.
The volcanic hot spring water in the plunge pool, was most welcome during the cold evenings…
Menu at location was limited - but the staff were obliging to prep on call.
Friendly staff who were helpful in terms of information.
Very clean and family friendly location… the jeep driver was arranged by the property to visit the Mt Batur viewpoint at sunrise.
Attention of the staff was limited, when the property was full.

The view was beautiful, and we really enjoyed the hot spring water right in front of the room. The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were attentive and helpful. There is also a small market within walking distance.
The location is a little hilly and quite far inside, so the road may cause motion sickness for some people. There were also quite a lot of flies, although the daily cleaning helped keep this from becoming a major issue. The breakfast could be improved.

Water pressure - at times none at all, very poor.
Most of the time dribbling out barely enough to shower then sometimes super strong and burning hot for short periods.
Of the beaten track is putting it lightly, very bumpy road under construction and barely able to get through in a car.
Flies - this is not the fault of the hotel, but you should not underestimate just how many flies are in the area. I could also see tens of flies sitting on our hotel towels as they were drying.
