friendly stuff, food excellent.

no aircorn only a fan in the cottage and its mid summer like 35 degrees

It's a rustic accommodation but perfect for us as a couple. We had everything we needed to cook and the bar at the restaurant is incredible. Lots to see at this place. Host was very friendly and accommodating. Place was clean and everything was there that we needed.

Although closed, the owner kindly allowed me free reign to wander about the extraordinary property. Old cars, farm implements even cash registers, some built in to the walls abound. Phenomenal use of old rusted out bits of 'trash'.

The accommodation wasn't the best, or cleanest. However, at the price point, it was fine.

Most facilities was good, just that the carpets were found very dusty, spider webs in corners, no tv. Heater old and one of 2 switches broken. There is a cole/ wood fire place but no wood or cole??

We were twice harashed the evening by a young coloured boy asking for food or money. Second time at about 20H00 for food for his little brother that must take medication. Phoned police, no answer, w app manager or owner, no responce. Sat awake till 3 am guarding my bakkie in the street against criminals. Curtains facing the street could not close properly, we did not feel safe at all. Old wooden door with large window, facing 2 m from the street. No burglar proofing or security gate. Will not stay there again.
