I really liked how secluded the accommodation was. I enjoyed the spacious, warm welcoming room and bathroom. I loved the small knitting corner and being able to share my special moments at Paardefontein with the old age home in Laingsburg.

The accommodation should clearly warn guests prior to booking that the property is not easily accessible without a high-clearance vehicle suitable for gravel roads. This information is critical for travellers when planning their trip. We experienced a medical emergency during our stay and the lack of reliable signal and reception made it extremely difficult to reach anyone. Communication was very poor, and our message was not acknowledged even after we returned from the medical facility in Laingsburg. While the setting may suit certain travellers, better disclosure regarding road conditions and limited connectivity is essential for safety and proper planning.
