We didn't stay there. Unfortunately it was damp and not suitable for someone to stay. It was unclean with a stale smell which was very unpleasant. We ended up having to book in somewhere else. Luckily we found a place with such short notice. We tried to contact the owner numerous ways about a refund, however, we got no reply.

Description on my booking.com does not reflect this place at all. A 'converted garage'(?) Which definately does not have two bedrooms as described. It was dirty, we did not use any of the facilities at all, literally just slept there!

Appalling filth

This was a sheer disgrace! Filth everywhere! We didn't stay , we left immediately after taking a video of this so called 2bedroom apartment. It was disgusting walls doors windows mirrors bathroom, floors filthy . Cobwebs ,,spiders and scum in shower. Stains on couch and chairs . Still waiting on appology and refund from this !! Would not put a dog in it!

Everything! Dirty filthy tiny and not even ironed bedlinen . I m not sure it was even washed STAY AWAY we took a.video of this to prove it

Apartment in Bray

Great location!! It's nice and quiet, and a nice parking spot right outside :). In a perfect place to walk down to the beach, have shop's nearby. It was fine for what we needed which was a pit-stop for the night in a nice area and easy access to get to Dublin port for the following afternoon. Can't argue at with the price we paid!

We didn't actually expect too much after reading some of the review's, it's a like a little tunnel with different room sections, bathroom could have done with a better clean. Also could do with some new bedding, so it brings a much fresher feel to the place.

I booked this property for two contractors to stay in for 2 weeks. they only stayed one night and I had to find alternative digs. they both slept in the clothes and couldn’t even stomach a shower. then the property refused to give us a refund. absolutely appalling !!

Good location but needs improvement overall

Location is fine and Bray overall is a good area for families. Outside the apartment is a bus stop from which you can reach any other part of Bray. The other bus stop is 8 minutes away and from there you can get to Dublin city center. Also the bus to airport can be picked from another bus stop which is also within walking distance. Supermarket is 15 minutes away from the property.

When we got to the apartment the keys were not available in the place previously agreed with the landlord but luckily he sent someone to let us in. The guy came within few minutes but didn’t leave us the keys. We got those 3 hours later. This was just unfortunate but somehow ok. The apartment is rather cold and humid and radiator is electric so it’s difficult to warm up the rooms. I’d recommend to use gas heating. TV didn’t work as it says it needs to be connected to a cable or something. Also the landlord seems way too busy and it was not easy to get him on a call hence texting is a better option. Unfortunately one morning I needed to ask further instructions on how to lock the doors as the key was not turning so I called him. He could not pick up the phone and texted me back: I’m working. WHAT IS IT? Apologies but that’s not the way! I’m a person who’s also very busy at my work as I’m in a senior role in a big corporation but always make time for my customers even during my several conference calls. Remember we pay money to stay at your property and you’re not doing it for free. Hope this helps.

The location was a bit out of town.the layout was poor and very cramped and a bit smelly.

The town of Bray is a pleasant seaside town, with lots of interesting walks and places to visit.

WiFi signal could only be picked up in front hallway. Signal strength needs to be boosted in rest of appartment. I believe a small TV would make the stay more pleasant.

Very disappointing

Not very much I'm afraid. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked but that's a pretty low bar,

Most things. The property has an eccentric layout and the rooms are basically a series of bays in a ten foot wide corridor at the side of the main house. Finished and furnished to a very basic standard and in some respects not yet finished at all. The location is hardly 'brilliant', being on a housing estate a good 20mins brisk walk from the nearest parts of both the town centre and the seafront. A pretty shoddy offering all round I'm sorry to say, and very poor value.

Poor layout, finish & lighting and poor standard of furnishing, equipment and cleanliness. The bed linen was clean but access difficult with the bed against the wall and bunk beds at the end.
