Easy to find, need to park at nearby street for parking which we found one about a minute walk or you can use the public car park a couple of minutes walk away. We left our car for the 3 days and hopped on the buses to take us to Ambleside, Bowness, which were regular and a couple of minutes walk. Apartment spacious, clean and comfortable. We even had a view from the lounge where we saw jets, planes extra across the hills, I believe training which my husband loved. Pubs restaurants and cafes all close by. Really enjoyed our stay and Sharon the host has a folder with all the information required, walks etc to help if first time visitors. We wouldn't hesitate to book again Thankyou

The flat was lovely and the location ideal. The open plan layout was perfect for two couples for a short stay. Very comfortable beds.
Unfortunately the flat wasn’t ready by check in time as it hadn’t been serviced.  We contacted Sharon, property manager, who  arrived within half an hour to rectify this and explained that her sister had missed it When I said we were unhappy that the property wasn’t ready, things escalated quickly. We found sharon to be confrontational and argumentative and left quickly, within 5 minutes, as we were uncomfortable. Sharon phoned 90 minutes later to let us know the flat was ready. When asked about the property owner Sharon outlined that she rents the property and then sublets it. This meant that there was no one to else to discuss this issue with but Sharon. Throughout this discussion Sharon remained, in my opinion, unreasonable and confrontational. Solutions offered were for us to terminate our contract, which would have meant us returning home with no refund on 30th December, or compensation for the hour and a half service provided which was calculated by Sharon to be £17. She also offered to waive the £10 per day cleaning fee for our small dog. These are all reasonable, however, we felt Sharon could have dealt with this more reasonably and professionally. When I outlined that the only option left to us was to reflect that we were unhappy with the customer service provided through the review, we were told that our threat didn’t bother her in the slightest as she would just reply to this review on booking.com. Fair enough. We received an email from Sharon misquoting what was said and stating she felt threatened by the attitude and uncomfortable as she was on her own. We were at that point two females, 52 and 61, so I suppose these things are all in the interpretation. We just felt the experience was tainted slightly by what we interpreted to be a hostile reception and a lack of professionalism. We wouldn’t return or recommend this property.

It was spacious, very xmas’y and seemed to cover all needs on the whole. One of the rooms beds was uncomfortable and sadly the heating seemed sporadic as one day it did not come on in the morning. Sadly a neighbour started drilling and hammering early morning which is not due to the accommodation but was not ideal

Location and decoration are good. The room is clean.
The radiator does NOT heats in midnight, it’s too cold. We cannot sleep well. This facility doesn’t worth the price.
