Very unclean, see photos.

The view was nice and the garden was beautiful but it was a bit hard to enjoy with so many mosquitos present.

We booked this apartment based on its great reviews (especially about cleanliness). Unfortunately, we had to cut our stay short when we discovered how poorly cleaned this place was as evidenced by the photos. Update: After posting the photos here, we received a baseless invoice for 400 EUROs for cleaning/sanitization.

Impressive.

Modern facilities are right by the waterfront. Correct size for our mini-flat, equipped with everything you need to stay a few days. The swimming pool is wide and clean. Big, impressive and carefully kept garden with secular trees. Friendly and available staff living on-site.

Direct access to the lake would have been a 10+ but alternative ways are available at walking distance. Not a negative.

The location was amazing. The scenery, the pool area, the gardens and patio areas are all wonderful. The hosts are very friendly & helpful. They can answer any questions you have & offer some great tips for days out. The rooms are exceptionally clean & the air conditioning was great. We hired a car so getting around was easy. It was great to come back to Villa Onedo after a busy day and relax by the pool. We loved the place so much we often stayed in on a night & ate on the patio area, rather than going out to a restaurant.

Fabulous holiday in a fabulous location

We had a fabulous holiday, Villa Onedo was very peaceful and is surrounded by beautiful scenery. Viola and Giorgio were so welcoming and helpful. Their hospitality was excellent. The accommodation was very comfortable, it had everything we needed. Having a washing machine was great as we just travel with 10 kg cases. The pool is gorgeous and very safe as theres no deep end. There are plenty of lovely walks in the area. The train station is only 5 minutes walk away, We didn't hire a car, we just used public transport, which is excellent. The ferry stops at Abbadia Larriana, and the ferry stop is about an 8 minute walk from the accommodation. This is also an excellent service. Timetable available on www.navigazionelaghi.it and its better to just get tickets on the boat rather than buying them online. We walked along a walk called Sentiero del Viandante into the next town called Mandelo del Lario. Its a lovely walk and is very picturesque area. The only thing to keep in mind especially if you're using public transport is that there aren't any grocery shops nearby. So just ensure that you bring groceries with you. The train service into Lecco is great & available hourly.

It was an amazing stay. The view in reality is even much more spectacular than in photos. Extremely calm, quite and breathtaking place.

Idyllic views comfortable apartment and friendly owners

The pool area and garden views are idyllic.

The property is close to a busy road so there was more traffic noise than expected. We were there using public transport and there was a train strike so getting about for groceries was more of a challenge than I thought it would be.

Amazing property with great facilities and outstanding views. Exceptionally clean. The hosts are lovely and welcoming, and you can see how hard they work to keep the villa and its gardens looking so good!

Beautiful villa and beautiful views!

The Villa and views out onto the lake were amazing, it’s like a mini oasis! The property is a 5 min walk to the train station and beach, and 15 mins to the ferry port so we found it very easy to explore in the day. The rooms were spacious and clean, the kitchen was fully kitted out with everything you’d need. Viola was super friendly and made us feel very welcome. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

Stunning villa on lake Como - incredible views, everything is clean, well kept and very well equipped. The hosts are absolutely phenomenal, so kind and hospitable. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, and were very understanding when we realised we made a booking error on the day of arrival. Can’t wait to stay again!

Loved the setting, friendly owners

couldn’t find the kettle anywhere in the kitchen and felt a bit harassed with lots of calls and messages about passport copy when they could see when we were in as the car was there and just had to knock to ask. Esp as I was at work one day. It was too much. Would have been nice to have oven too.

Great hosts who went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great trip - they sent a large list of recommendations and even booked a restaurant for us :) The villa and pool overlooking lake Como is beautiful. The location is perfect for exploring - we went to Varrena and Bellagio by public transport. Could not fault this villa or the hosts :)

The fact their could only be max 3 couples to stay at a time. If anymore was added it’d be crowded and less tranquil. Definitely a view to die for. Very cater for yourself and perfect for what we wanted. Peace quiet and time too reset. So peaceful, no tv or distractions Was perfect

Room tax could have been added to the payment when booked instead of being told on the last day. Also late check in fee is a bit rubbish however it’s their prerogative

Fantastic, peaceful and beautiful

I liked the attitude of the staff/owners family, the cleanliness, the friendliness and their welcoming feel. At check in we had issue with traffic and they were understanding and helpful from the start of our stay, till the end.

The issue we found was that the ferry had a mask restriction we didn't know of and the train in town was only every hour, but I wouldn't say that's a negative, simply something to be aware of.

I honestly don't know where to start with praises for Viola and Giorgio! The two of them as hosts were genuine, supportive, and fully forthcoming! The property is simply beautiful with a breathtaking view of the lake and surrounding mountains. Due to the position, it offers complete privacy. The room itself was just what we needed -- a bed, bathroom, place to cook, and a hallway to leave our stuff!

If I have to be nit-picky, I'd say that we would have loved it if there were basic spices available such as salt and pepper. We bought them the very next day so it wasn't a hassle.

The accommodation was very clean and new. Everything you needed was in the room. The owners were very friendly, had also left a gift. The view of the lake is wonderful, I think it is the best view of Lake Como. Lecco and Varenna are very close, convenient to drive by car.

The residence is located directly on Lake Como. The mountain panorama all around is just breathtaking. We enjoyed a quiet and relaxing garden with a large swimming pool. The studio with a double bed and a small kitchen was very clean, well maintained and meets a very high quality standard. This is definitely above average for Italy. This stay was just insane! It was so beautiful and the owners are just warm and great people. We will certainly come to visit you again.

Appartement nickel, une très belle piscine et un cadre magnifique.

L'arrêt de bus devant la résidence. Rempli de locaux qui viennent passer la journée a la plage. Le petit village n'a rien de plaisant il faudra prendre la voiture et faire quelques kilomètres pour trouvez des villes beaucoup plus sympathiques.
