About this lodge
Set in the Heart of The Peak District, we have placed our beautiful fully equipped Shepherd's Hut in a spectacular setting with views right across the Hope Valley and Castleton.
Private indoor swimming pool.
Our hut is designed to the highest of standard, with everything from under floor heating to wireless charging points.

From the moment you approach our Shepherds Hut you are greeted with motion sensor exterior lights, open the doors kick off your shoes and feel right at home with warmth from the under floor heating.
The space
Our hut is fully insulated with double glazed windows and doors.
Some of the best features are:
Hand crafted kitchen:
Solid oak worktops.
Belfast sink with a copper tap.
Hot and cold water.
Induction hob.
Microwave.
Pop up electric socket with wireless charging.
Fridge with a freezer box just the right size for ice cubes.
Pot, pans and crockery are provided.
Sleeping:
When it comes to a good nights sleep there is a double pull down bed with a luxurious memory foam mattress (bedding and towels are provided)
Seating area:
Cosy seating area perfect for two guests.
Wall mounted smart TV.
Sound bar.
Under seat storage.
Oak flooring and door to suit.
Under floor heating.
Not to mention the perfect views out of the double french doors.
The roof is completed with britmet roof tiles to keep the rain noise to a minimum.

Double walk-in shower.

Heated demisting mirror.
Heated towel rail.
Extractor fan.

We are located on Win Hill with footpaths right on your doorstep it is great for ramblers but we would recommend to arrive in a car. One parking space free of charge available.

Utility room where the washing machine/dryer is located is a shared space, there is a £1 charge for the use or the washing machine or dryer.
Swimming pool slots £25 per hour.

A lovely little hut in a perfect location. Check out time is 9am so if we were to return, I think it would have to be for a minimum of two nights as 9am is pretty early so we didn’t even have time for breakfast before we had to clean up and check out. Considering the price and the small space, I think a complimentary addition of bits in the fridge would be good. Lots of places I’ve visited for the same price (and less!) on Vrbo have added in fresh bread, butter, orange juice and even Prosecco and muesli/croissants for breakfast. Makes such a difference after an almost 4 hour drive! Everywhere is different but I think it’d be a nice addition for the price.
Otherwise, the interior, location and host are brilliant. I will definitely recommend. Thank you!

Had such an amazing time staying in the cute little shepherd’s hut with its amazing views. It’s the perfect location to go walking or visit the local village and towns. 😊
