Welcoming and homely, good food and comfortable rooms.

The staff were welcoming and friendly. They were very busy but still worked to accommodate us for a late meal which we were grateful for. The food was delicious. We booked breakfast for the next day which was plentiful and high quality. We would like to have stayed longer. The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed.

Not that bad but not worth the amount.

The staff is friendly, the room was clean. It is also accessible to supermarkets and restaurants. It has free parking.

The only thing is in the summer it is very warm in the room because there's no Aircon. So we open the window, however, mosquitos came in. The door knob was also a bit broken.

Cozy, relaxing and accessible.

Location is 10 minutes walking distance from the centre in a very quiet place with almost no car traffic at all. There is a sarea right across the street where you can park. Breakfast had plenty of options and very tasty.

Was very warm day and very warm in the room,not good for summer time but in the colder days would be OK, not the cleanest room but I didn't mind that.

Okay value for the money. Not bad as long as there isn't a party.

People were friendly. Breakfast was good value for the money. Same goes for the room. They could however replace the showerheads & hose. The one in my room was leaking and full off lime scale.

There was a party in the front part of the building. Sadly the party kept on going until after 01:00 on a Sunday evening with loud music and a rough bass. The next morning it still smelt like beer in the common staircase area.

Spacious, okay breakfast, but credit card was charged despite my wish not to.

The rooms were very spacious. The curtains properly darkened the room. As it was right on the main street it was noisy but not too bad. Also the people who stayed at the restaurant could be heard, with the windows closed.

My credit card which was solely used for booking the room was used to charge me before i even asked for the bill! And it was already clarified I would pay in the hotel. When I pointed it out, I only got a smile as a response.

Lovely hotel within walking distance of Goch centre but far out enough to be quiet. The shutters on the windows are great for keeping the room dark at night and cool in the day. Came back from town at night for a drink in the bar which was lively and had a great atmosphere.

Superb

The staff were very friendly, providing a pleasant check-in experience and a great breakfast. A nice touch was that they remembered where I sat on the first morning and placed a pot of coffee there as soon as I walked in. The breakfast was good with fresh fruit, granola and yoghurt (all I need). There was also a selection of fresh juice and breads. I had dinner in the hotel on one evening and wish I had eaten there more often, the food was wonderful. The restaurant was always busy, a good sign.

As mentioned by another reviewer, the hotel does look a little tired in places; however, this didn't impinge on my stay at all. In fact, on some occasions I prefer a bit of character rather than a sterile space.

Great place to stay if travelling by train, friendly staff and clean & tidy facilities.

Friendly staff who chatted in English as much as they were able (I have VERY little German!) I was asked what time I would like breakfast, but then overslept and had to run for my train so missed it! I chose the Hotel as a friend was going to be in Goch at the same time and the very friendly bar staff accommodated our late evening discussion - we finally left at around 23.50 having not realised the time! The bed in my room (twin room with 2 single beds that looked quite narrow but were actually wider than they appeared) was AMAZING - no idea what sort of mattress it was but it's the best night's sleep I've had in a hotel!

Dit is echt niet meer van deze tijd. Je gaat 50 jaar terug in de tijd. En voor die tijd waren het al goedkope materialen. Matrassen veel te zacht, leek meer op een blok schuimrubber.

Mooi feest gehad en de kamer en de bedden waren schoon.

Het ontbijt was goed en uitgebreid. Wij waren daar om een verjaardagsfeest te vieren en dat werd heel goed gefaciliteerd.

Het is een tamelijk gedateerd gebouw en dat waren de kamers ook.
