Perfect for an overnight to catch an early flight from Weeze airport

The staff was extremely helpful. Lovely countryside location and close to the airport. Spacious clean room. Nice shower with good pressure.

Large square pillows. This is a very continental European thing, so not just specific to this property. I just can't get used to them.

Just great and when we would have the opportunity we would go back.

The location is historic in an old castle partly a ruin but partly done up very tasteful. The reception was excellent The hosts very lovely people with a heart for their property. The breakfast was lovely well made and very tasteful definitely a place to recommend when you want a romantic stay over.

I really can't think about anything which was not taken care of.

We had such an amazing stay here! The lady who welcomed us at the reception was very friendly, and when she found out it was our 1-year anniversary she arranged a bottle of bubbles for us. We stayed in the Asian room, which was lovely. Super comfy bed, and luxury bathroom. The location is stunningly beautiful. Highly recommended!

The renovation is charming and the grounds are lovely, it is a good location for a party or event.

The breakfast was sufficient, I enjoyed the fact that there was regional and homemade produce. Personally I am not a big fan of too much on offer for breakfast so found everything adequate and the staff very friendly and helpful.

There was nothing I did not like as the stay exceeded my expectations. We were just staying for the night so basically needed a comfortable bed. The place is charming and very relaxing.

Honestly this place is amazing. We stayed in the deluxe suit and the value for money at this place exceeded all the suits I’ve ever stayed in. It even has a roof that slides open, I mean what more do you want?

Lovely grounds, Lovely room, Lovely people.

The breakfast was excellent, it was priced well for the area. The fresh breads were heavenly. We were the only people having breakfast on our first morning and they went out of their way to present a lovely table just for 2. Eggs were cooked well. The room was amazing. A mid week stay and we had the Sterne Zimmer. It was worth every penny. Loved loved the double bathtubs. We also liked the little history lesson about the rebuilding of the castle tower.

I really have nothing bad to say. Generally don't like hotel pillows, so I would recommend maybe getting tempur-pedic pillows, then I wouldn't have to travel with mine from home.

Musty rooms, not been used a lot lately obviously. Asked for a child bed at check in at 2pm - at 7 pm it was still not in the room. It’s overrated and overpriced.

Für eine Nacht okay. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt muss der historische Kontext besser sein.

Charmantes altes Schloss in einem großen Park fussläufig nur Minuten vom Ortskern entfernt. Das Zimmer im Dachgeschoss mit Schrägen und großen Dachfenstern entsprach einem Norm-Hotelzimmer. Ausreichend groß, komfortabeles Doppelbett. Das Zimmer hatte keinen Bezug zum historischen Kontext. Modernes geräumiges Duschbad.

Statt Schloss ein Zimmer in einem Gebäude außerhalb des inneren Schlossgeländes, direkt an einer vielbefahrenen Schnellstraße mit Blick auf einen Bauhof. Frühstück war okay aber mit 18 EUR etwas hochpreisig.

Groene Omgeving

Wij voelen ons in de maling genomen. We hadden verwacht op een slot ( kasteel) te verblijven, zeker verwacht dat het ontbijt op het kasteel zou plaatsvinden. Overnachting kon in een bijgebouw zijn maar toch niet zoals nu helemaal buiten het park. Waar het ontbijt geserveerd werd leek wel een crèche, een gegil van jonge kinderen , daar was ook een speelgelegenheid gevestigd. Kwamen veel mensen van buitenaf, geen hotelgasten. Het ontbijt was a la carte. Slot Herteveld is deels een ruïne.

Location bellissima. In un parco meraviglioso. Relax assoluto per famiglie vicino c’è uno zoo per bambini. Camera bella e pulita

Reception inesistente. Alle 6,15 del mattino abbiamo avuto un grosso problema. Il taxi prenotato e pagato con Booking non è venuto a prenderci. Eravamo 5 persone con due ragazzi. Abbiamo rischiato di perdere l’aereo. In reception non c’era nessuno per chiedere aiuto. Ho suonato, ho telefonato anche al numero indicato sulla porta ma c’era solo una voce pre registrata. Non si possono lasciare gli ospiti completamente soli. E se c’è un’emergenza come è capitato a noi? Peccato perché la struttura merita
